Bob was a fantastic "host", really friendly, professional, and full of good tips for the river. He offers drop off and pick up from different parts of the river, which was great way to see a bit more of the river and get out of the more heavily trafficked areas. The boats were great quality.
We started at Brooklyn near the Estuary Waterfront Seafood Restaurant, stayed at marramarra creek campground, and got picked up from Berowra Waters Ferry the next day. That was about the limit of how far we would want to paddle. We were pretty happy to be getting out of the boats at the end of each day.
Had a lovely time, a nice way to experience the area, and Hawkesbury River Kayak's service is great.

Well organised , friendly, good value, lots of fun! Kayaks with rudder made steering a whole lot easier. Hawkwsbury is stunning! Natural bushland down to the water, pristine, private beaches some with waterfalls - magic!

I had experienced both the day and overnight kayaking trips with Bob. He was super helpful guiding us and providing essentials e.g. life jackets, first aid bags, dry bags etc. Hawsburry river is peaceful to kayak on and I feel it’s has a lot to offer to both beginners and experienced kayakers.

Bob at HR Kayaks went out of his way to make sure we were set up for a good trip, providing friendly hassle free service, advice and high quality hire equipment for an overnight trip on the majestic Hawkesbury with friends. I will definitely be booking another trip in the future.

This being my very first experience kayaking, I couldn't ask for a much better view with a great support and sturdy kayaks.

Our group rented two boats from Hawkesbury River Kayaks for a 3 day trip along the Hawkesbury. Robert was fantastic to deal with. Besides providing us with great boats, paddles, dry bags, life jackets, maps and a first aid kit, he helped us with transport (which saved us about 2 hours of extra driving to retrieve a car), and provided us with valuable information about the river and its conditions - in particular he suggested a fantastic spot to camp for our second night. Most of our group agreed this was one of the best places we'd ever camped, and we'd all like to camp there again. If you're planning a kayak trip along the Hawkesbury and you need a boat or two, you would do very well to contact Hawkesbury River Kayaks and have a chat with Robert.

Bob was excellent in communicating before and on the day. Beautiful location and a great activity for an extended family to do. A great combination of single and double kayaks. Good value for money and an excellent thing to do if people have never kayaked before. Definitely suggest visiting Dangar Island and having lunch at the bowling club. Great food and drinks. Well recommended!

Train goes directly to Brooklyn from central station. Brooklyn is known as "Hawkesbury river" railway station. Take the Newcastle and central line, one hour. Short walk to parsley bay. Cheers
