Absolutely fabulous chilled day out. Dog friendly on leads. Walk through the trees, over the bridges and by the broad. You can take a boat trip, sit in one of sheds if you're with a dog for shelter and have a meal or drink or sit in the cafe. Lots of plants for sale at reasonable prices. Definitely a recommend from me.

I won a voucher in a raffle so thought we would go today.
The woodland was lovely although if I was paying I would be rather disappointed with how much I paid and what I got. It really wasn't much different to going to our local woods.
The boat trip was certainly over priced for what it is and then one member of our party had to correct her on something.
The tearoom, well, where do I start. The poor young lady that served us must of been new and she was trying hard. Non of her colleagues really wanted to help her. We were under charged on one order, over charged on another. 3 times I had to go to the counter as they hadn't brought everything over.
Like I said, I'm glad I didn't pay full price.

What a gorgeous garden, so tranquil and many routes around the garden.
Great little cafe and gift shop.
Totally unpretentious and so well kept.
The boat trip on the Broads is an absolute delight so much wildlife and the highlight was a kingfisher

Went to this lovely place. It was truely lovely.
Had lunch in the cafe and I must say they make amazing haddock and mozzarella fish cakes and I had a lovely treacle tart. The food was amazing. Thank you

We moored nearby on our hired boat and walked down to The Gardens. We unfortunately did not have time to explore the gardens but they were happy for us to access the cafe. We could not sit in the main cafe because we had our dog with us. However, we were made very welcome on their covered veranda which even had dog beds and bowls.We both had Frittata with salad, fresh and tasty. Non dairy milk was on offer. It was busy but the staff were welcoming and cheerful. Lovely lunch spot on our Norfolk Broads holiday.

It was a very pleasant and cool walk on a very hot day. Lots of shade and great for a dog walk. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views.

We are having a relaxing time in Norfolk and visiting lots of Nature and natural sites. The woodland here is really beautiful paths are well maintained and even hire scooters out. We managed with my wifes mobility scooter but was a little bumpy for her which we expected. We decide to try the broad boat trip from here as other have been really good informative. We this wasnt our pilot didnt want to talk to us even though saif had a microphone so we could hear him as we where behind him in the back of the boat yet everytime he spoke he moved away from the mic and spoke to the couple in the front made us feel like second class people. There was little or no wildlife on the broad apart from the little tern platform but then he could tell the difference between a chick and adult. Scenery is what you expect marshes reeds trees etc. But nothing about this that we could hear a real waste of time wish we hadnt go on this and wakjed round thw woodland for longer as this was more pleasant. Will probably come again but not do the boat

This was the first time visiting Fairhaven. It was a beautiful place to spend the day with a very accommodating café.
Unfortunately this venue was not wheel chair friendly. With the protruding roots of the trees and gravel on the tracks it made it very difficult to push the wheel chair and very uncomfortable for the passenger sitting in the chair.
This is why I have given this venue a 3 star.

We had a very relaxing afternoon walk around the gardens. Lots of lovely flowers to see too. I would highly recommend!
We also enjoyed the 20 minute boat trip and saw lots of ducklings, gooslings & grebettes. It was amazing to see the grebes carrying their babies on their back.
We had a lovely lunch sitting in sun- from the cafe!

On their website they call this a ‘woodland garden’, so I was expecting something more than just the sort of woodland you can visit for free pretty much anywhere! It was a nice enough walk, but I don’t understand why they charge for something that is no different to a free to access woodland. We visited during their ‘primrose weeks’ event, which their website boasted as having a ‘breathtaking carpet across the forest floor…a kaleidoscope of color that is simply mesmerizing.’ However, there weren’t many at all. We visited the cafe before we left and the staff didn’t seem to understand the difference between vegan and gluten free, apparently unable to decide which of the cakes were in which category, despite them having labelling on the display cases. In the end they had to look on the computer and it transpired they had been put in the wrong places. So bear that in mind if you have dietary requirements. Overall, it was rather underwhelming and disappointing, and expensive for what’s (not) there.

Hi, once paid can you go in and out of the place? i.e to get lunch from the car. Do you get your hand stamped or show your entry ticket upon reentering?

The car park is on site and open to go to and from. You get a receipt when you enter so as long as you keep it you shouldn’t have any problems.

There are benches dotted around. The ground may be a little uneven in places and with being heavily pregnant your balance may be a little off, so do take care.

There isn't a family day ticket at Fairhaven Garden. Entry is adult £6.85, concessions £6.60, child £3.95 (under 5 free).
There is an annual family membership - £55 for parents, or parent and partner, and their children 5 to 16.

Standard admission prices include a 10% voluntary donation as part of the Gift Aid scheme. Income from Gift Aid goes straight into projects within the garden such as providing wheelchair accessible picnic benches, new plantings and restoration projects.
