Covering the northern end of the passage side waterfront, Sylvan Beach Esp. is a popular destination for many groups and families, particularly at week-ends. There are numerous amenities for visitors to avail themselves of, to ensure a comfortable time. Safe swimming for youngsters is the norm and plenty of room for day trippers to set themselves up with tents, marquees etc. Has won a "Qld's Friendliest Beach" award on occasions.

Decent beach. Not the best on Brible but OK for a swim or a bit of fishing if you like or just lazing around.

Lovely beach on the mainland side of Bribie Island.
Lots of bird life and protected swimming area. Nice walkway also and playgrounds nearby. A great spot for families.

Away from the popular day spots on Bribie, sylvan beach has everything you need! White sandy foreshore, calm waters for swimming, walking track, boat ramp/pontoon and a few cafes. Great views over pumicestone passage and the glass house mountains. Lots of wildlife including regular dolphin spotting. Really feels like a wonderful place to escape and relax.

Went for a walk down along the forshore here,lots of great spots to have a swim ,barbecue here and there with tables, great place to spend a sunny day.

Sylvan Beach is a peaceful and quiet beach, with plenty of shady areas to retreat from the sun and an excellent playground for younger children. It gets a bit muddy at low tide, but it’s always good for a wade and an explore.

Sylvan Beach is Wonderful for Families and Shallow Saltwater Safe for Little Children and Older Adults to Paddle
and Swim , Good Shady Trees for Family Pic Nic Days and Total relaxation .
Not a Beach for Yuppies . What You See is What You Get! Nature at its Best .
We took Our Children to Sylvan Beach years Ago when They were Little. It is a Safe Beach .
Plenty of Near By Parking and Walk to Take away or Dine in Seafood Restaurant and Cafes .
Good Fishing Beach for Flathead and Whiting , Yummy ,Tasty Fish .
Pummicestone Passage Sweeps Sylvan Beach Clean Sands and Cool Breezes Blow along the Beach .
We are now Living on Bribie Island and Still Visit Sylvan Beach to Watch the Glorious Sunsets across the Water
and Glasshouse Mountains on the horizon. You can Walk a fair Distance along the Concrete path Bodering
Sylvan Beach. The Marine Rescue is based at Sylvan Beach Jetty as are the Cafes and Seafood Restaurant
next to the Large Park and Car and Trailer boat Parking Area .
This Park and Car Park and Sylvan Beach are the Home of many Triathlon Competitions with Swim Race in the
Safer Pummicestone Passage .
Also the Bribie Island Hotel ,Sylvan Beach has Excellent Budget Meals and Dinning at Night or Lunch and
Cold Beers on Tap on a Hot Day .Also Gaming and Tab and Foxtel.
So Sylvan Beach Area can Suit All the Family and Couples too. It is a Wonderful ,natural ; Unspoilt Beach like
Good Old Days , Not High Rise Jungle of Buildings and restaurants and Over Crowded Beaches.
Been Visiting Sylvan Beach for 25 years and is Still Natural and the Pummicestone Passage is a national
Marine Park , No Professional Fishing . Good for Dad to Drop a Line and Catch Fresh Flathead and Whiting to
Enjoy at Home or in One of the Many Holiday Units along Sylvan Beach When Working in Northern Territory .We
Visited Sylvan Beach and even Rented a Holiday home there .
The Children and Visiting Relatives Enjoyed being near the Beach and Local Couples sat on their Balconies
Overlooking sylvan Beach , pummicestone Passage and Sunsets behind the Glasshouse Mountains .
We returned a few Years later and Rented a Lovely Modern Renovated Unit Directly across from the Beach and
Park Areas and Enjoyed a Real Relaxing Family Beach Holiday.
