In October we took two separate tours and transfer with Mike. The first one was Berlin to Prague with stop overs in Potsdam and Dresden. The second one was Prague to Vienna with stops in Cesky Krumlov and durnstein. For both trips, Mike was punctual, professional, cordial and attentive to our questions and needs. His superb service enabled us to see so very much in a short time.. We are two couples from Canada and Mike made us feel at home in Central Europe but allow us to experience the essence of Central Europe . Our pre trip coordination with Mike was through our American Cousin who had used his service almost ten years ago . Throughout the planning Mike was patient and prompt in his replies and support . Mike’s Chauffeur Service is the best – professional, reliable, with fair and fixed rates and easy to communicate with when times and schedules needed to be adjusted. Besides airport transfers my adult grandson and I used his service around town; he patiently waited for us one night when an event we scheduled ran much later than expected. I cannot say enough good things about Mike, and his colleague Pavel; I highly recommend them.

After many trips where we self drove 1000s of km each time throughout Europe, I finally decided we needed to make travel a bit more relaxing. I saw in a Rick Steves Central Europe guidebook a recommendation for this reliable and reasonable chauffeur- transfer company based in Prague.
We first booked a meandering scenic drive between Berlin and Prague, and also a transfer from Prague to Budapest with a 1.5 hr sightseeing stop at the beautiful Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. Our driver Pavel was both personable and proficient, and the small van incredibly comfortable for we 4 seniors, making both trips easy and enjoyable, and leaving us with the energy to thoroughly enjoy each travel day, rather than have to deal with the stress of car rentals, navigation, and concentrating on the road and traffic.
Now thoroughly converted to the benefits of this travel mode, when our train from Budapest to Munich was cancelled, we just called Mike-Chauffeur again, and were delighted when he came to the rescue and the smooth-driving Pavel got us to Munich well before dinner.
Pickups were exactly on time, and everything as promised. We heartily recommend Mike-Chauffeur as an excellent transfer service in Central Europe.

We took three trips with Mike's service. They were professional, reliable, timely and cost effective. Mike was willing to customize a trip for us - he even made suggestions based on our request.
One person in our party ended up taking an Uber. It cost them more then our trip with Mike's service and took them longer.
I loved the informative details our drivers provided. It was truly reassuring to work with Mike!

My wife and I just got back from Central Europe and we used Mikes services on three different occasions. Two planned and one last minute bind that Mike helped us out with. Prague airport pick up, Prague to Budapest with a stop in wine country, and Linz to Munich with a stop in Salzburg. All the drivers were fantastic and I couldn’t imagine getting this type of service back in the states. I would never use anybody else moving forward.

We used Mike service on our recent trip to Eastern Europe.Merik Was our driver. The man is a gem. Is knowledgeable and pleasant and friendly. He really knows his job... on top of that. He likes people. He is great at what he does. He drove us from Prague to Budapest with a side trip for wine tasting. He Took us door-to-door. It was a wonderful part of our trip thank you Mike. Thank you Merik

I can 100% recommend Mike’s service. He drove us from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and lined up a fantastic local guide for us there. He also made stops along the way and arranged for us to tour a castle. He is super reliable. So much so we arranged to have him take us to the airport a few days later. Speaks perfect English. Very reasonably priced. Highest recommendation!

Mike's chauffeur is the best! His service I have utilized in the past - each time service was spectacular! The chauffeurs (drivers) are excellent drivers. Very personable. Safe drivers. The handle the luggage. This last trip chauffeur was Gabor. He hails from Budapest. We arrived in Vienna so wouldn't have to take a short flight to Budapest. . He was there when we arrived. Due to road construction and heavy traffic the trip took longer than it should have. However, we were able to enjoy the countryside even more traveling at a slower pace. I highly recommend Mike's Chauffeur. A private chauffeur is the way to go - sit back and enjoy in a nice vehicle - no stress. A great beginning to a vacation.

This was our extended families third experience using Mike's service - and, we plan to use him again in Europe. He is punctual, a great communicator, and offers a very fair price. We were six adults traveling in Northern Italy. He met us in Cinque Terre and drove us to Bologna, Modena, Verona, Lake Garda, Lake Como, Lake Maggiore and to Milan airport. An excellent experience!!!

Driver on time and got us safely to our destination. Driver was friendly and curtious. Mike communicated with us promptly.

So sorry have not been on for awhile, I believe from Nuremberg to Prague about 3 hrs. We decided on no stops. Yes we tipped, usually less in Europe but between 10 -20% depending. we almost always do except in restaurants where its added. Credit cards tend to add extra but best way to pay. Enjoy your travels

We paid in cash but if I remember correctly it states on their website that credit card payments would be charged an additional 2-3%.

We wanted to take a day trip to cesky krumlov. There may be 7 of us. Can you accommodate that many people?
There are other things to see at the castle (tower, gardens, stables, museum) and in town so we need to plan well and select what we want to see carefully. A rough figuring: 8:00 (depart Prague) + 2 hr (drive to Cesky) + 1 hr (castle tour is 55 min) + 1 hr (theater tour theater is 40 min.) + 1 hr (lunch & rest) + 1.5 hr tour town + 2 hr (return drive) would get us back to Prague around 4:30 or later.
Is the guide with us for the day?
What would the cost be for the day? Do you have a website? What type of vehicle is it?
Any other info would be appreciated.

We traveled with Mike's Chauffeur Service from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and then on to Vienna. I contacted Mike's Service based on a strong recommendation from Rick Steve's book. All of my communication with Mike was via email. Mike arranged a local guide that gave us a tour of Cesky Krumlov while we were there. The driver dropped us with the guide and we met back up at the agreed upon time.

You should. In Czech, they expect you to tip for bar staff and drivers. It's usually 10% but of course if you like the service

I sent an email 2 or 3 days ago about costs and timing for a trip to Ceski Karnov. I haven't heard a peep. Won't be in Prague until 2 days before we want to go so wanted to plan ahead. How did you contact them?
