The fountain itself isn’t so spectacular but it’s beautiful and the area around is very mice, full of nice buildings, restaurants, shops. It’s worth to take a walk.

The city landmark located in the from of the Artus Court, constructed in the early 17th century. Nicely lit at night. The fountain survived the World War II intact. At Christmas the decorated tree stands next to it.

Neptune's Fountain is a historic fountain in Gdańsk- a mannerist-rococo masterpiece, and one of the most distinctive landmarks of the city. The fountain was constructed in the early 17th century.

Neptune's fountain is just in front of Artus's Court. It's a nice one, but the beauty of the houses around it is much more astonishing.

There is a reason why people line up or crowd here for a picture. The fountain and the surroundings are simple awesome. We were lucky that we stay very close to the long street and come here at 8am to take our picture when there was literally no one. Relax and enjoy the place and the surrounding. Gdansk is breathtaking.

Neptune - in Roman mythology, the god of waters, clouds and rain, counterpart of the Greek Poseidon, god of the sea. Neptune's attribute was the trident. Worshipped together with a female deity called Salation or Venilia (identified with the Greek Amphitrite, Poseidon's wife in Greek mythology), as for me it fits very well here as the waterfront is seriously close and this symbol seems appropriate ;)

This monument is found in the Main Street and attracts the crowds. You’ll find it surrounded by bars and restaurants and street entertainment.
