Trochę zaniedbane i jakby "zapomniane". Nieco z boku głównych ścieżek. Żeby tu dotrzeć trzeba się samemu natrudzić z jego zlokalizowaniem.

The Monument was an effective place for contemplation and sober reflection after having visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau sites and having been particularly impressed by the horror of the road at Birkenau down which the women and children were herded to the gas chambers disguised as disinfecting showers and the adjacent crematoria, after having alighted from the rail cattle wagons at the nearby terminus following nightmare journeys from other points in occupied Europe. The stark simplicity of this monolith underscored a message of "Never again'.

Miasto powinno trochę bardziej zadbać o ten pomnik. Zauważyliśmy go zupełnym przypadkiem wśród drzew.

Bardzo ważne miejsce ale niestety bardzo zaniedbane. Szkoda, że w takim miejscu. Takie trochę ukryte. Warto to poprawić i zainteresować się. To apel do zarządzających Szczyrkiem.

Takie miejsca powinny być lepiej oznakowane i bardziej zadbane. Musimy przestać chować naszą historię. Do Polski przyjeżdża wielu obcokrajowców. Musimy pokazywać, że jesteśmy dumni z naszej historii!

Located in the Zwierzyniec park (Polish Zwierzyniec stands for zoo, and this used to be a place with animals on show) this simple monument has been erected on the site where 10 Polish prisoners of Oświęcim (Auschwitz) has been killed in revenge for killing of German forest keeper done allegedly by Polish resistance. Apparently those 10 men were hanged by other prisoners brought here in the same transport. Local community built this monument shortly after the war, in 1949. Hidden in the trees right opposite new church in Szczyrk town centre.
