Nice main street in Łódź. Plenty of activity and people even on a rainy day. Something for everyone, with cafes, local shopping. Nice even to stroll without stopping anywhere.

The road clearly impresses with its buildings. There are many restaurants and bakeries. The Walk of Fame of the local graduates of the film school can also be found here. Should be looked at when visiting Lodz.

This is the main street of the city. There really is everything: from fast food to high-end restaurants, the Grand Hotel and also plenty of art courtyards where you can find murals or other art installations that I strongly Recommendation.

The street is very lively and there are countless restaurants and small shops. The total length is 4.2km, with only the first part approved for normal traffic. I found it a bit annoying that an extremely large number of e-scooters and e-bikes drove through the road, sometimes at increased speed. Also some cars have driven through, which does not really make the whole thing a pedestrian zone. On both edges are walkways for pedestrians, but these can become narrow if there are many people and sometimes also narrowed by chairs of restaurants. The buildings on both sides are very impressive. Overall a nice street with many restaurants and shops.

This is the main thoroughfare of Lodz. The once-robust street reflects the heyday of the Polish city. Nowadays it is an emerging area where large-scale renovation takes place. It is awaiting another opportunity to shine.

This very long pedestrian street is an essential visit in Lodz. Surrounded by old houses, most of them well restored and maintained, it is a very pleasant walk, full of bars, restaurants and shops. On the sides there are passageways that lead to patios or small streets with very pleasant bars and terraces.

The street does live up to all the hype you read about it and definitely worth a long walk to experience what it has to offer. The architecture of the old building and the old street lamps make a beautiful statement day or night. Restaurants, bars, shops, nightclubs, cafes and cake shops, bronze statues, Side streets off Piotrkowska St offer some great street art, Rose Passage mosaic glass building. There are so many photo opportunities definitely worth a visit.

Central avenue in Lodz we were passing through Wroclaw and stopped. A lot of places open for lunch and there is certainly no shortage of choice.
