Nika from Intersport Berenik helped me with improving my ski lessions a lot. On the other side,my daughter started learning skiing for the first time.

My family of six all went skiing in the first few days of January.
Although not much snow, this experience was one to remember.
Firstly, most of the instructors were absolutely incredible. Matevz (my coach) was the most patient, cool and adventurous person I ever met. When I left I cried so hard that I had to leave this incredible person.
And ofcourse Ursa is great with children.
The food around there is mostly grill but there are some really great restaurants around there.
I really suggest that you go there for around 7 days.

The guys in the hire shop are rude and abrasive and make you feel as if they’re doing you a favour by taking your money! Unpleasant start to the holiday. The equipment was decent though! The instructors were nice but again the staff in the ski school were difficult.

The guy in the rental shop has a lot to learn about how to conduct himself with customers - an absolute horrible individual based on how he dealt with me returning ski boots simply because I didn't buckle them up, I assumed they were to be left open, so as to be dried or cleaned. No instruction was given upon renting them at the start on how they would like them returned. I had no problem with doing up the buckle but it was the manner in which he spoke to me "is this how to return boot, close them now before you give them back, you got them closed give them back closed" this happened in front of other customers and staff, instead of asking me nicely to close them which wouldn't be difficult. its almost like they support each-other in the shop to see who can be the rudest. I don't ask for much but a little bit of respect and friendliness, considering this is his lively-hood I would assume he'd like customers to return - well I won't return.
Shame on you Intersport Bernik - who ever runs this operation needs to consider front of house training. before their staff ruins their business.

Staff is rude except the girl at the info desk. We went there 3 family with 4 kids to get information about ski courses. They answered our questions unwillingly , they were far away from being helpful. We thought they might have acted like that because it was crowded because of night skiing so we left the office. Next day we went there again to hire equipment, but everything was the same. We went to an other course, hired our equipments there also and saw that they were much more helpful and professional. Someone should teach them how to behave people outside from slovenia.

We went to Kranjska Gora with our family for the first time this year and fell in love with everything! People are so friendly and polite. Nature is beautiful and so many places to explore and enjoy. We enrolled all three of our children for ski lessons with Intersport and hired the equipment too. The teachers/ski instructors were amazing; our children really liked them, and every single one of them was fun, friendly, patient and great at teaching them(our children said this). Our youngest child was enrolled for kindergarten as he is very young. He ended up having a mega tantrum ( he is not used to cold weather). Teachers handled it so well and with so much care. We recommend this school to anyone who wants their children to learn to ski and grow to really love this sport in the process. We plan to visit again for sure:)

We rented 2 e-bike in advance for our daily trips. We hand a previous correspondence with Nina who answered for our each questions in e-mails. We received lots of useful recommendations from Dragan where to go around Krjanska Gora. He organized for us a return transfer from Bled too.

We booked with this ski school for the first time this year due to the advanced levels they offered our son. From day 1 he was bored - he’s a competent red run skier and was put in a group doing easy button lifts. Day 2 was no different and still no technique was taught. Day 3 was the final straw, being a type 1 diabetic (which Intersport knew), he pulled over to eat some sweets as he was feeling low (still on easy runs, no technique taught and with children who were snow ploughing). The instructor shouted at him and called him ‘the boy with a little brain’. Our 10 year old son was devastated and came back crying. He skied with us after this. The company said they would investigate but it was completely unacceptable and resulted in a very upset 10 year old and the quality of tuition was poor from Marco. I won’t be using this ski school again for my children.

Fantastic ski school for kids, including ski kindergarten! Great teachers, speak serbian/croatian and english well! Will come back :)

Good/convenient place to rent all skiing and/or snowboarding gear, and snowshoes too. Very reasonable rental prices as well. Helpful, friendly staff. Lines can get a bit long to return gear at the end of the day, so be ready for that.
