Our sommelier was full of knowledge and happy to answer our numerous questions. We were not aware of how much wine Hungary produced. The wines were varied and enjoyable. The atmosphere was amazing. Don’t miss this experience

interesting after noon trying 5 different Hungarian wines and learning about the various wine regions. Each wine came with a selection of cheese and meats carefully paired that were deliciously complimentary. John’s knowledge and manner was very engaging a good value afternoon i would recommend

This was such an amazing experience. A lovely spot with a very intimate feel. The servings of wine were very generous and some great food too! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Really enjoyed this wine tasting. The wines were lovely, the wine regions of Hungry explained and the presenter was very knowledgeable. Learned about the grapes and methods of production.

Barbara was a wonderful tour guide. We learned SO much about the country and its foods and wines. We also ate and drank very well. We kicked out with a very fun group of 5, and Barbara made everyone feel welcome and included. Highly recommend!!

A great tour with many opportunities to try different Hungarian foods. Our guide Barbara was very friendly and knowledgable about the town and the food. Would definitely recommend

Hello. I'm looking to book the ruin bar tour in Budapest for 10 people in april. Could you confirm exactly whats included please in relation to drinks. It doesn't say beer included in the price, but some of your reviews says it does. looking forward to your reply :-)

Thanks for your question! The type of drinks you get depend on your taste ... we are flexible! The tour includes 4-5 drinks, which could be beer, wine, or spirits. Hope this helps! Feel free to get in touch with us also by email if you have any further specific questions or would like to book.

Is there another way to book and pay for the Vienna to Budapest tour? The website doesn't appear to be secure, so we don't want to enter our credit card on-line. I've sent two e-mails to hello at taste hungary and have not received a response to either e-mail. If anyone has experience booking a tour without entering their credit card on-line, please advise. Thanks!

we were thinking of doing the boat tour on our first night to Budapest after a long plane ride from San Francisco. Did you like the boat/wine tasting tour on the Danube more/less than any of the other tours that you took? We will do a bike tour the next day to get general overview....but wanted something a bit more laid back for our first evening in town. would appreciate any thoughts on the subject.

We also did a night river cruise of the city as a part of our Danube trip. It is worth the time to see the city at night and from the river.
