Cerca al monasterio Benedictino, es de obligada visita. Compagina muy bien con el paisaje y el entorno. Una gran obra de arte en un espacio público donde se puede visitar y disfrutar.

Wrażenie zależy od pory dnia i pogody

Nasłoneczniony, prosty stok ze stacjami Drogi Krzyżowej, z góry piękny widok na Balaton i Opactwo. W upał to jest rzeczywista męczarnia, choć krótka. Wieczorem, przy dźwięku grających cykad, sprzyja refleksji.

A kilátás és nyugalom melyet lentről nem is gondolnánk

Nincs közte a tipikus meglátogatni valók közt, ezért mondhatni eldugott és mikor voltunk, senki más nem járt ott, pedig nagyon egyszerű megtalálni (Az Echo dombról lefele, visszafele a városba). Felmászni a dombra már kevésbé egyszerű, de ha elfáradunk és megpihennénk, ne felejtsünk el megfordulni, mert egyre szebb kilátásban lesz részünk, mind az apátság tornyai, mind a városka és a szemközti völgyhídra. Többször jártam Tihanyban, de most először jutottam el a Kálvária dombra. Megérte és a csatolt képek alapján remélem mások is úgy döntenek, hogy megéri a fáradozást a kilátás.

Reminds me of my Catholic faith !

The 3 crosses are erected in a simple garden. One can restfully meditate or pray. It is good to be reminded. An added monument of faith by the Abbey grounds !

Route to Calvary.

In the pearl of Lake Balaton, Tihany the little village has the Via Dolorosa, the way that mimics the painful route of Christ carrying the cross through Jerusalem to Calvary. The fourteen stations all have a bronze relief, to mark the stops along the way of Jesus.
The music of the Cicadas accompanied me along the path, which filled the landscape with peaceful tranquility. After the white marble stairs, you can walk up to the Calvary on the gentle rising grassy hillside. The top of the hill, where the three crosses are, offers beautiful views of Lake Balaton and the Benedictine Abbey. When the lights come on at night, the place is particularly dramatic.

Beautiful place

Surrounded by the beauty of Lake Balaton and the picturesque cottages of Tihany this is a sobering walk up a gentle slope through the stations of the cross to the crucifixion.

Even as a secular person this is an atmospheric and moving place.
