If you are a fan of congestion, waiting in queues for over 30 mins - this is the palce for you! Let's try to be more objective - adequate facilities, sunbeds, restaurants, ice cream shops and a nice pool bar in the Tropical area. For each icream, beer or lunch you pay with your electronic chip. There is also a shop if you forget to bring suntan lotion, towels etc. If your child is below 120 cm tall there are only 3 slides they can go on. The views of the Tatra mountains are spectacular especially from the sunbed/resting areas where you may come to rest from the masses of people swarming in the swimming pools. Now, I come to my point - shouldn't there be limits of visitors per such institution? A limited number of tickets per day? I went on 5 slides with my son, which took us 5 x 30 mins = 150 mins waiting in queues for an est. 5 x 30 sec of fun = 1,5 mins. The rest was spent meandering through a river of people on each of the swimming pools and hot pools.

The largest water park in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland actually turned out to be the most common water park in size.
Cons:
1) huge queues on each slide.
2) 36 euros per person per admission actually spent on queues
3) well and the cherry on the cake: lights out at 16:00 without any warning, no apology (in case it was an emergency shutdown), etc.
4) incredible queues at the register, in the changing rooms, spirit indoors (it's all with the lights off)
5) as a result of the brazenness of the staff including the administrator.
6) disgusting barely for the price of a restaurant
On the plus side:
1) coaster queues electronic
2) sufficient sunbeds
Cons:
1) huge queues on each slide.
2) 36 euros per person per admission actually spent on queues

A water park taken to the next level: with hot springs! We went in August, but being close to the Tatra Mountains, it was raining and cold. And it is truly an experience to go down the giant slides while it rains and fall into hot thermal pools. A spectacular place, with endless options to have fun, and truly unique. We would be happy to repeat

Very expensive for what you get . We went in half term and it was packed .
People just leave flip flops everywhere causing trip hazards .
The pools are so busy it resembles a minestrone soup . There’s only 1 lifeguard per pool when a similar sized pool at our local leisure centre with half the amount of people would have 3-4 .
Only the thermal pool outside was open , I thought they may have 1 of the outside slides open . This caused massive queues for the indoor slides . There’s supposed to be indoor surfing and that was all shut of

Too busy, no chairs, no place for your towels, unsafe for children due to crowds! Too many people, not enough space, food isn't too bad, but no place to sit!

The Paradise restaurant is a huge disappointment. Charging 9 euros for a pork cutlet the size of a woman's palm and a thickness of max. 3 mm is a steal.

After a rainy day of skiing, we decided to try out Tatralandia. Unfortunately, that was the wrong decision. I will explain briefly why.
The waiting was not organized and if you think that you can get in for free with the ski pass, you are wrong. You have to register online on Go Pass beforehand, but this is not pointed out.
When you get inside, there is great chaos, more people than places. (Winter season) The thermal baths open at 10 and we arrived at 11 with no view from a seat and there is no need to talk about a place to lie down.
If you want to use the wellness area, you have to pay €20 more. This €20 covers 3 hours, if you leave during these 3 hours there is no turning back.
After 3 hours, we decided to end this terrible experience and return to the hotel.
In conclusion, you can say that it is better to spend a day at the hotel and go to a spa or just play cards together, it is less stressful and the money is better spent at a bar or in a restaurant.

My experience with sauna in Tatralandia. I have been coming here for several years, but the experience in the saunas after a few visits has now put me off a lot. Running and screaming children, a playground full of frolicking children. Persons in swimsuits under sails. Noise in saunas. This was not there. I went there to relax. Now just to raise the adrenaline. When I pointed out how they should behave ... well, you don't want to know that comment. In the past, children could only go until a certain hour, it was limited. Why doesn't the staff go to check the saunas? But the price went up. However, the quality is very low. And that's not to mention the rather unpleasant smell in the areas outside the saunas. Disappointment.

I do not recommend! It is an overpriced water park, for €60/2 people. I expect that at least there will be a place to put your things. Crowded with people waiting for the slides. There is also a "buffet" (because the restaurant looks a little different) with inflated prices. This water park has long since passed its golden days and reflects Slovak hospitality, where the first priority is only profit and zero € investment in the inventory and surroundings. Just look around.

I was thinking a lot if I should write this review or not, but what is important to notice is a fact that this is not an one-time experience. Today I guess it reached the trigger point. I will review pricing (which is considerable high), nor the lack of visitors count threshold (if weather is bad during the high season, you are not able to walk among so many people). What I am about to review is the additional service that based on my experiences shatters even the things I like there. And that is the food service. And it is not a quality of the food ( even had in kid’s menu chicken nuggets with minced meat- you all know what it might contain ) but the service it self, in other word the so called “cooks”, cooks in the main building I mean.
It happened many times ( as owner of the season ticket ) that the way those cooks are dealing with visitors is embarrassing. You can see in their faces how annoyed the are that you have the insolence to ask them to prepare the food. Simply how dare you f..g visitor to disturb my laziness! And I mean it, literally. You can see how some of them cook your ordered food as slow as possible simply trying to discourage people to order it. Sometimes one doesn’t need to roll eyes to actually do it.
Oh and btw, good cook pre-prepares the ingredients quite upfront not in front of customers ( if one is not lazy of course)..
And the last drop was today. My som was very hungry so we went to the canteen ( yeah for me it is just a canteen because of couple of these guys), 10-15 minutes to 11. Kid’s menu was no issue ( but seemed to me to be heated up from yesterday tho), however when I tried to order the food for myself it was decline that it is not 11AM yet. And guys got back to their work..staring outside of the window!!! Really?! This is the customer service. Yeah I know I was bit early but this is the way? you pay 30 Euro per head just to enter in to see such lazy, unfriendly and annoyed staff?!
Well of course you can go there, if you have kids they will have great time, even maybe you..but frankly bring your own food, or go to the ZOO just next to this aqua-park ( they have really nice burgers there ), just stay away from canteen in main building..that is my advice.
So to wrap it up, Tatralandia is like slide, just going down. It is sad but you know couple of rotten apples can destroy the whole pack..and surely they do. Shame.

Heard rumours that you have to pay extra for some of the slides... is that true?

In addition to the spa and surf area, it seems like the two new tobogan (round raft for up to 4-5 persons) slides are designed to be at extra cost, but currently (July 2018) they are free. As for paying extra to cut the lines, on a Wednesday in July there was no need for that.

Chcela by som vediet, preco prestali, respektive skoro prestali, v AquaP fungovat vodne "atrakcie" - konkretne vo velkom vonkajsom relaxacnom bazene. Kedysi tam krasne bublali pri vonkajsom okraji trisky raz na jednom, potom na druhom konci. Teraz funguje jedina na lavej strane- a horko - tazko 3 na pravej strane, ked pozeram od vstupu do bazena, oproti vstupu... Kazdy, kto tu chodi viac rokov vie, o com je rec. Tato negativna zmena nastala vyrazne po minulosezonnej rekonstrukcii. Bolo by dobre to vratit do povodneho stavu, lebo toto dost vyrazne ubera na atraktivite Vasho zariadenia. Nie kazdy ma chut a moznost lezat v najteplejsej vode len peto, ze jedine tam su vonkajsie vodne , fungujuce "atrakcie ".
