It was one of the most complete museums when it comes to orders and medals from Europe and the rest of the world. The audio guide in English is excellent and very informative. The curators are very kind and they seem very passionate about history, having knowledge about different countries. I completely recommend it, especially if you love history!

This museum truly has a fantastic collection on display. The diversity of represented items is also fascinating, as the exhibition also incorporates ceremonial dresses and uniforms alongside the insignia. Regarding the complexity of the introduction and narration, you'd rather want to read some material about the honor systems and knighthood orders in advance. That way, you'll have more time to appreciate the beauty of the exhibits.
It truly feels like entering a gallery filled with excellently crafted jewelry. Different museum segments have their unique character, so you can see the distinction in regional philosophies surrounding the design of awards. Plus, if you really feel like starting collecting medals and orders as a hobby after the visit, you can purchase some at the souvenir store/museum lobby.

Great staging of medals, military decorations and uniforms of many countries. In some showcases it is also possible to find the letters of the great Modern/Contemporary leaders such as Churchill. Interesting exhibition on the military orders of the Knights of Malta, the Ottoman Empire and The Republic of Finland.

This is a museum you won't find around every corner. Even if this kind of high society isn't at the top of your list of interests you'll certainly expand your understanding on how societies work if you visit this place. The museum is small, but don't rush too quickly past the showcases or you'll miss the point.

Great experience! Andrus, the curator, was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. The pieces on display are from Orders from all over the World. And every piece is original. The history within those walls is amazing. Loved it. A must see for history, royalty and military buffs!

Un musée très intéressant pour en apprendre plus sur l'histoire des pays et familles importantes à travers le monde. La collection est composé d'un grand très grand nombre d'ordres. L'homme qui nous as accueilli était très gentil et semblait vraiment passionné et enthousiaste. Les audioguides disponibles (sans payement supplémentaire), rendent la visite plus simple. Ce musée en vaut le détour.

Wow! First off, the man working on 28 November could not have been more helpful. He got me set up with their free wifi-based audit guide, walked me over to the museum, and gave me a brief intro. Many thanks!
This place is really only about three rooms, but I spent two hours here. There is so much information and history packed into all the different orders and their corresponding insignia. The audioguide is amazing, but almost overwhelming with all the history, people, and dates! I had to pause it a few times to make sure I was actually taking in the pieces themselves.
Can't recommend this small but fantastic museum highly enough, and - pro tip - it's open on Mondays, when most places that appeal to tourists are closed. Use your time wisely! :)

Beautifully curated museum, everything is beautifully displayed, very friendly staff, it’s a must for everybody who loves history!!
Only takes one hour, right in the city center.
It’s one of a kind!!
