Решили поискать вокруг Таллина интересные места для посещения. В поисках наткнулась на информацию об этой природной тропе. Решили посмотреть,что это. Я вам скажу, совершенно неожиданно в самом городе, оборудована гать по болоте. Есть два круга на 2 и 4 км,по выбору. Звенящая тишина,чистейший лесной воздух! Мы были в январе,но тропа будет интересна для посещения в любое время года. Есть таблички с указанием произрастающих растений,но хотелось бы чтоб они были не только на эстонском языке. Очень рекомендую ее для любителей пеших природных прогулок.

I hiked both Red & Green loops today. It is a pleasant, but uneventful hike thru Estonia re-growth forest. Perhaps more interesting when lots of water & perhaps more wildlife.
Directions: Take Bus 5 from Viru bus top and get off at Kauge bus stop, then walk briefly in same direction to 1st intersection and follow road that angles ahead and to the right about 1 mile to large open parking area and interpretative sign (no Eng - but not really necessary)
Alternate return from N edge of loops via Bus 18 route back (Google Maps)

5 km walk, with a watch tower, that is currently being fixed.
Few boards were broken, but you could still get over them, and i would recommend boots that are waterproof and/or boots that you're not afraid to get dirty as there is a small place where you need to walk through mud.
You can park your car next to the road.
There are few beautiful animals while driving to the trail.

Mukava parin tunnin luontoreippailuhetki hyvällä säällä, lähellä Tallinnan keskustaa. Menimme miehen kanssa paikalle autolla. Ajoreitti suhteellisen helppo, kesto noin vajaa 30min. Jätimme hölmöinä auton maksulliselle parkkialueelle, vaikka luontopolulle menijöille on oma, maksuton parkkialue. Kuljettavia reittejä on luonto polulla muutamia eri pituuksia, me valitsimme "inva & lapsi"-reitin, joka oli kaikista lyhyin (muutaman kilometrin mittainen). 😀 Kyseisellä reitillä suurimman osan matkasta on pitkospuut, jotka ovat muuten hyvät kävellä, mutta saattavat olla liukkaat joten varovaisuus kannattaa. Luonto on reitillä kaunista ja vaihtelevaa. Samalla matkalla pääsee kätevästi näköalatornille, jonka luona voi syödä eväitä. Vessoja reitin varrella ei ollut ja roskiksiakin oli vain yksi, joten tähän kannattaa varautua. Käymisen arvoinen luontoreissu hyvällä säällä! Parin tunnin luonnossa käpsyttelyn jälkeen olo oli rauhallinen ja virkistynyt. ☺

Nice place for a pause from the city pulse. Easy to get to from the city center (we took bus 18 from Viru) and did a walk of approx. 2 hours following a combination of the red and the blue tour.
Had our kids (age 8 and 10) with us.
Remember to bring some mosquito repellent!
Must be an amazing places for local runners!

You can easily go there with bus or a car. I've been walking there twice and both times were very pleasant. It seems to be great place for a nice sunday walk with family/friends or with a dog. Also, you can notice some runners as well.

Not far frim tha main road. Take bus nr 33 to Hiiu and keep left from the city centre side. I usually run there. You can take wat road ever there, ending up some start anyway.

Very pretty walk in the woods, close to Tallinn city centre. We easily managed to reach it by bus, then used GPS to find the start of the walk. We did the board walk covering the viewing platform. The boggy terrain is really interesting - lots of frogs and insects, and we even saw a viper! Got bitten a few times by large flies (not the viper!) - would recommend bringing insect repellent in the summer.
Sometime the board walk disappears at junctions, but never for more than 50m. The terrain is quite easy - we were fine in trainers.

Pääsküla rabarada offers an amazing experience in nature. The wooden trail takes you through different landscapes and natural habitats, making sure you won't get lost. There is also an observation tower there which is an excellent place for a picnic with its wonderful views. Although it is right next to Nõmme residential area, you won't feel closeness to the city. It's a perfect place for a short escape from the busy city.
