Interesting place for industrial spirit lovers.
Lots of urban arts, shops, bars etc. In January also ice rink.
Place good for a long walk, to have some food or just spend some time.

This was one of the coolest places I’ve seen. While everyone else headed to your typical touristy area of Old Town, my sister and I went here. The street art was fantastic. I could have easily spent all day exploring this neighbourhood. We even stopped for a super cheap salmon soup lunch for €15 for the both of us, as opposed to the €200 my parents paid for pizza in old town.

We walked up to Telleskivi from the old town to have a look at all the street art and visit one of the local cafes having heard great things about it. The area can feel a little out of the way but by no means is it a long walk, a nice stroll if the weather is good.
The whole area is very vibrant with plenty of street art to be admired. There are some really genius uses of space with old train carriages and buses being converted into cafes and bars. It’s a very local social kind of place but plenty of happy and chatty people about for sure!

An industrial district that until 10 years ago was only full of abandoned warehouses. It is now one of the liveliest and most creative neighbourhoods in Tallinn and the whole of Estonia. It is located in the northern part of Tallinn where there was once a large factory called Baltic Railway. Now, however, it has become a center for artists, designers and other creative minds: cafes, exhibition centers, alternative shopping galleries. A great example of how you can revive an entire area.

For some decades now, there have been numerous projects in various European countries to regenerate old industrial areas, now abandoned but usable as urban spaces for collective use. The results of these operations do not always succeed fully, but on more than one occasion they have turned into the birth of new popular meeting points, especially youth. To those visiting for the first time, Telliskivi gives the impression of belonging to this second category, with its old factories and warehouses renovated, repainted and used for a wide range of functions: art galleries, library, community center... The idea of using two old railway carriages as bars and making it the center of a small network of street food-style restaurants is also apt.

A neighborhood where several old buildings and abandoned industrial premises have been revived. It became a completely unique district that has a very special atmosphere. Many restaurants serve food from different parts of the world, and not least for a very nice price. We cost ourselves in the evening sun with glasses of cold beer and Greek wraps with chicken and tzatziki. Definitely recommend visiting when in Tallinn. Very easy to find. The neighborhood is located right next to the train station and along the train tracks.

Little walk out of the centre but worth it. Amazing murals and art on the walls and all over. Once you get to the market and big crazy bus it’s very quiet and feels a bit off but keep walking to the best area with lots of art shops, thrift shops and places to eat/drink. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

Many objects to see here. The atmosphere is very unique and very worth coming here. Here you will find many places to eat. Totally recommend coming here
