I went there at 05:30 in the morning to have it to myself, so I could photograph it with the streetlights still on. That is because in the evenings the restaurants on the street are open a little late, or many people are passing by.

Usually Viru Street is busy and you should turn into this alley. It's bad weather and a wall restoration where you can see the tombstones from a Dominican convent. Apparently preparing for Christmas - then it's a fairy tale.

One of the most beautiful passages of the medieval city. As you go through it you are in another era.Through nice shops but glass and one of the most beautiful taverns!!

A medieval street, with the original pavement and surmounted by arches connecting the buildings of the fifteenth-seventeenth century. Suggestive for many but perhaps a little less for Italians, more used to similar walkways.

Difficult to make distinct judgments on the many points of the old part of Tallinn that contribute to the charm of the city. In the case of the Santa Caterina passage the most significant Attraction factor is certainly the small Dominican museum-convent located in a small courtyard that opens along the route. However, since the building does not have regular opening hours, it can be interesting to take a look at the sort of cave-cellar next to it, where a picturesque artist guards - to say exhibits would seem simplistic - a quantity of works of all kinds stacked together in a sort of chaotic assemblage that only he probably knows the logic of. But the passage is also something else: it is its walls, it is the stone beams that connect its sides, it is the series of small cafes that dot it no. Another place not to be overlooked.

The medieval feel is the highlight of the street.
