An extremely modern building housing a very strange collection of art. I found it difficult to coordinate this building and felt some of the exhibits to be quite disturbing. I like to keep an open mind, especially with art, but did not enjoy any aspect of my visit here.

Tram # 1 will take you from the old town centre and drop you at edge of Kadriorg park which is very nice to walk through. The museum itself is an enjoyable and well laid out art museum. A mixture of permanent Estonian art works and international exhibitions. Tallinn card works here.

It is a museum beauty full of art jewels, interesting proposals, wonderful Estonian painters, too interesting. I wish I could have been there longer. I highly recommend it

The structure is elegant, modern with well-organized routes. The security personnel are helpful. The shop has quality books, gifts, bags and jewelry. The bar is small and intimate.
The numerous works of art are adapted to the exhibition space. All around, there is woodland.

This was an excellent art museum. There is a fair amount of modern art which I am mostly not a fan of, but there was a great collection of Soviet era art and an even better collection of 19th and early 20th century Estonian art. There were a couple of good collections of Surrealist art too. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of art and presentation. It is a world class art museum, well worth visiting.

There were different exhibits on each floor. Like modern, historical. I bought nice souvenirs for myself. There is a lot to discover in museums.

Beautiful museum with modern architecture that houses a beautiful collection of Estonian art. The three-storey presentation allows a journey through the history of Estonian visual arts to the most modern expressions.
The bottom of the museum houses temporary exhibitions. In August 2024, it is a beautiful exhibition on some aspects of Latin American art.

Beautiful museum in terms of building and collection. You have to puzzle to get there by public transport. Nice museum café too, with attractive offer. The Tallinncard is recommended, the app also helps you get there.

This Estonian art museum is worth a visit. I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised
Private tour with Robin. His knowledge was outstanding. He made my experience. Please commend him

If you get lost in this museum, or cannot find your desired exhibition at all, don’t worry, it is an every day thing in Kumu. However, the building and exhibitions are worth the frustration. Beautiful place dedicated for art, and smartly dosplayed.

Quelqu'un aurait-il noté l'auteur et le nom d'une grande toile représentant un marché aux fleurs, dans un style moderne post réalisme soviétique mais pas si loin (barres d'immeuble et grue à l'arrière plan ...)

You can either take tram 1 or 3, or walking along the beautiful coast line, which is my favorite route. The art museum is located in the vicinity of the old royal Summer residence, which is a fascinating art museum itself!
