Beautiful beach on the Baltic Sea. Lots of opportunities to drink right on the beach. Parking for free in the streets behind the beach.

Amazing beach 33 km with fine, white sand! Very beautiful atmosphere, the waters are very shallow but one can if you do not want to take a bath, sit in a beach cafe and enjoy the view. The city is beautiful, with wide pedestrian streets, inexperienced cafes and restaurants, a stunning Russian Orthodox church and a forest for endless walks. As for the wooden houses, it's like a fairy tale!

Beach equipped only in some sporadic places, clear and fine sand, almost depopulated and therefore pleasant for a walk in late August, can be reached in a short time from Riga (half an hour).

Jürmala beach stretches from the outlet of the river Lielupe southwest for 33 kilometers. Very bath friendly for families. Rating to Jürmala beach !

Gorgeous sand, lifeguarded, clean, places to eat, plenty of showers and loos. Plus there are beach games and kids play areas. And it extends for kilometers in each direction. Marvellous!

A mile long extremely well organized shallow beach. There are plenty of toilets and playgrounds for children.
The beach is wide but fine sand and there are different areas depending on whether you want peace or be active with different activities.
There are staffed free WCs incredibly close along the entire beach.
A number of restaurants, bars and cafes.
Changing cabins with different numbers so you can keep track of where on the beach you are.
Excellent for walking or cycling.

Fantastic beach with a lot of space and good service in terms of cafes, bathrooms and waste bins. Water was good and temp around 23°C, although there were some algees. Easy to find parking close to the beach.

Spiege huge style Romagna Riviera. Each tot presents bars and facilities with the possibility of renting sun loungers.

We are going there once every couple of years, it's always nice experience. I would say the prices are good around the area, considering it's the beach, but this year, there were a lot of rude tourists there. Maybe just the season or I was just that lucky, but it really ruined the overall pleasant experience.

If you mean high season, then I don't think it matters. All is full.
If you are 3-4 people I would take a taxi. Panda is always cheap (about 14 Euro to the beach), but sometimes you need some patience.

The station is called Majore. I recommend you to walk along the pedestrian street to the beach. You can rent sunbeds and buy something cold to drink
