Es un muy lindo faro cuyas vistas en altura permiten apreciar Skagen, las playas y la unión de los dos mares. Vale la pena pagar la entrada.

Syklet forbi på veg til Grenen og på tilbakevegen var fyret dessverre stengt
Skagen Fyr er Danmarks nest høyeste fyr med sine 46 meter og
tok over etter det Hvide Fyr i 1849.
Lyskilden i fyret kan sees på 20 nautiske sjømil.(ca. 37 000 km)

This lighthouse is in operation, it helps navigation, its light is projected 37 klms or 20 nautical miles away, and from there you can appreciate the conjunction of the North Sea with the Baltic Sea, part of the excursion that is taken to go to this site

Trods det våde vejr blev det til en tur i fyrtårnet. De gamle trin nummererede med tal og fine oplysninger om fugle er et sjovt tiltag. Udsigten er fantastisk deroppe fra. Her ses det smukke og meget specielle landskab meget tydeligt. Vandlinjen er spændende, helt fra Skagen by til Grenens spids.

Etter en tur i senteret og lært en masse om trekkfugler er det flott å avslutte turen med 210 trappetrinn opp til toppen av tårnet. Her er det en fantastisk utsikt over hele Skagen.

It was a nice little fishing town to visit.
But dont buy the Hop on Off type tour. Big waste of money.
Only goes out to the coast and back. Approx 10 minutes.
Just catch the bus to the city centre and walk around.
Nice shops, nice places to eat.
Not much else to see.

Igen et fyrtårn at bestige. Det var drøjt , når man har den alder jeg har. - men da jeg var oppe - Wau siger jeg bare. Sikken en udsigt. Kan anbefales.

We stopped at the lighthouse as we knew one could climb to the top. What we hadn't expected was a fascinating musuem about the migratory patterns of birds; not a subject in which I had any real prior interest until visiting this place. Great use of technology and well worth a visit.
