My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Abílio Bikes. Excellent customer service. They refunded us a day due to illness and an early return. I recommend them highly.

Great service with bike delivered to my door. The bike was in perfect condition and the electronic gears on it was a bonus. The bike rental was cheaper than a friends bike which had been rented elsewhere and it was an inferior bike. Happy to recommend and will use again.

Bike in excellent condition. Straightforward pickup and drop off at shop. I hired a road bike and enjoyed the nearby climbs. Website gives some good suggestions but I would advise avoiding N125 where possible.

Top bike and great service. Very friendly staff. They gave me a brand new bike which was a pleasure to ride! Wonderful surroundings of like a bit of climbing.

Bikes were great but rental per day was very expensive with little saved if hired for longer.Family of 4 for 5 days was around €88 per day 😅

Wilson,ligia and the guys at Abílio bikes were fantastic and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Customer service was fabulous for the 4 days I had rented a bike from them.
Seems like the only real racing bike option in the area I was staying on vacation.
Their website is very informative with bike options and routes to download to your GPS computer.
Bike itself was a trek Emonda (latest version right out of the box).
Through axle carbon wheels with 105 di2 hydraulic throughout.
Being Trek dealers everything was Trek subsidiary such as bontrager wheels and saddle etc.
Ride feel on the bike was good as it's a aero frame and was a tad heavy on the climbs bit that could be the jockey too, 😁.
Otherwise it was fantastic on the decent and loved to be thrown into the corners.
Di2 was super as used to 10 speed mechanical at home.
Finally wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Abílio bikes to anyone who is serious about getting some early season training done eat Algarve as you are effectively straight on the hills and there is plenty.

Bike hire on line in advance was straightforward.
I chose an electric bike, as I haven’t cycled for a while, but the terrain is actually very flat, so it’s not necessary around the salt flats.
Shop was easy to find and bike was ready and good quality. I was very fortunate to meet a British couple at the shop who were lovely, and showed me some gorgeous routes.
I was surprised to find I spent 6 hours out and about. Recommend going to Santa Luzia and then onto the anchor graveyard (there’s a tourist train). There’s a cycle path some of the way, and I went across the salt flats, and saw the flamingos.
As a solo traveler, I had no concerns.
Great day out !

Can you tell me how steep the 8 hour 60 km Small Group Adventure Ride is? Is it mostly flat, mostly steep? How steep is the climb to the hilltop?

It is almost flat so it is an easy ride, and you also stop for lunch, becase are 8 hours, so will be a couple of stops.

Hello,
Yes, our maps works in Iphone but for strava you need to have wifi. If you use a garmin, you make the tracks download and then you dont need a wifi, ok?
