It was a fantastic day in a magical place. It is a traditional Cuban farm with friendly and generous people. My son who was born in Canada had the opportunity to live a day full of activities (Horse, Fishing, seeing animals) and took nice memories. The place has a lot of potential I wish you all the best. I'm sure we'll meet again. Cheers to Federico and Yoni!

Excelente instalación, si desea disfrutar de un dia de camping, nos encanto la cabalgata en los caballos, montar en la bicicleta acuática por la bahia de naranjo. La comida y el servicio muy bueno. Un lugar digno de volver.

Namaak Cuba. Je krijgt wel wat te zien maar dit is zeker niet het echte Cuba. Ga 2 km verder en dan achter Mellila de zandweg op. Daar is het Echt en mooi. Mensen zijn heel vriendelijk dus makkelijk contact te maken.

Horseback riding, fishing (shore, mangrove and deep-sea. A zoo ( most are non- native and have been confiscated or donated to live out the rest of their life). A wonderful restaurant - well worth the $

For the last 4 years we've gone Horseback riding at Rocazul. We go for an hour for 16 pesos pp plus a tip. Our guide this time was Pedro and he pretty much let speedy gonzales and his wife go for it. Cantering through the woods was breathtaking. If you like to ride hard this is the place to go just let your guide know you need a switch to giddyup. I recommend going when its cooler if you can, wear long pants, socks and good walking shoes.

3 hours in 8 person boat. Good variety, quantity of fish. They barbecue your catch. Excellent value.

The horse riding was amazing. We did this as a family and it was so lovely experiencing this together. The horses are all well looked after and whether you can ride or not, they all follow each other in a line so no experience is necessary.
The zoo on the other hand has left me with a lump in my throat. The enclosure is way too small for all the animals. The ostriches were in a caged rectangle pen and were going out of their mind, one was slavering and biting at fresh air. (Compared to the “island” visit we did where these creatures were roaming free it was so heartbreaking to see them caged up).
The little monkeys were isolated in a cage no bigger than 6 foot and were separated from each other because they fight when put together. They had no toys to play with to stimulate them and none of their natural habitat (ie, trees or branches to swing from) and they were both just staring into space. When asked if they get to leave the cage at all we were told no because they would try and run away. They must be so lonely and bored - this zoo is in the middle of woodland, it wouldn’t be that difficult to make a bigger, better enclosure.
The alligator was in water the size of a large paddling pool, he could only just turn around in it never mind have a swim.
You can tell the workers do genuinely care for these animals, but care can only go so far. The enclosures need urgent attention and each animal needs more space. I don’t know how the place is still running - it’s like a prison.
I’m not writing this to moan, I just hope someone sees this and changes can begin to be made.

Avec un guide, vous pouvez faire le tour du parc soit à pied (très long) ou à cheval. Nous avons choisi un court trajet avec la visite de la maison du fermier. Nous avons été bien servi et le guide y va à votre rythme.

I did the horseback riding tour. You can easily get here by taxi.
They definitely have fishing excursions, you likely need to book it in advance. If you talk to your hotel front desk, or tourist agent, they should be able to set it up for you

Hi,
The enclosures are extremely small and there is no stimulation for them. It was heartbreaking to walk around. It’s like a petting zoo for wild animals - I wish I knew what organisation I could report this too in order to make a difference.

9AM -about 2 PM first tour their mini zoo about 1 hr, saddle up, & ride to fishing, about 1/2 hr, Fishing was about an hour +, then they cooked our fish with fresh fried plantains 45 min +/-, then ride to restaurant for lunch about 20-30 min, see some of the farm & animals, ride back to point of origin 20-30min
