We took the Wilderness Road Heritage Highway and it was beautiful especially as we got further south and there was less businesses (north end had a lot of salvage and truck businesses). The byway was not well marked and probably deserves a 2-3 in comparison to the East Tennessee Crossing or other byways, but due to the historical significance for the migration west it gets a 4. Ending at Cumberland Gap certainly helps.
