A very scenic valley from Livingston to Yellowstone NP. Views of the Absaroka range are great, best with snow on them in June. Take the East River Road for a slower leisurely drive. Don't miss Chico Hot Springs, as well as Boiling River, at the 45th parallel. Take swimsuits. Don't stay too long because I might want some pure pleasure too.

We stayed four nights just up above the Tom Miner bridge crossing. The area is stupendous. Close enough to Yellowstone to be convenient yet far enough away from the crowds within the park. There are many small and large vacation rentals available in the area for a fair price. Check out the Petrified Forest trail at the Tom Miner Campground.

The reviews on Trip Advisor for Paradise Valley MT were one of the reasons my friends and I decided to spend two nights there. It is beautiful! We stayed at the KOA by Livingston, right on the Yellowstone River. I highly suggest horseback riding or fishing while you're there! It is an incredibly peaceful and beautiful area. The one word I can use to describe it- soulful!

If you can stay in Paradise Valley, do. The lovely wide, shallow Yellowstone river runs through it (no motorised craft at all), and it's convenient for trips into Yellowstone national park. You will, however, need a car. Lots of wonderful trails lead from the valley floor into the wooded mountains, and bear sightings are not uncommon. Deer and birds of prey abound.
If you can, go to a rodeo in nearby Livingstone or Bozman.
The local papers, like so many in the US, are also hugely entertaining and offer a wonderful insight into the culture.
Didn't see a single piece of litter.

The name describes it. Snow capped mountains against a crisp clear blue sky with clouds that change in appearance with the wind. Wildlife and livestock wandering within and out of acreage barbed fences. Peaceful, with the sounds of birds and mammals in conversation and of flowing rivers splashing over rocks. Best to take a camera with a zoom lens

I was fortunate to travel through Paradise Valley again after 20 years. Again I am awestruck by it's beauty. Well worth the trip. I was sadden by the damage forest fires have done and could still smell it in the air.

What a great place. Wide open spaces, easy to drive, very scenic. Got to be one of Americas top scenic drives! Great views of the Yellowstone River, Gallatin Mountains and Absorokas.

i suggest any where in the paradise valley,each time we visit we stay longer 1st,3 night in emigrant ,@ told schoolhouse restored log cabin,2nd, time a .3 bd. 2bath home w/family guest , 3rd time,4 bd.3full bath home. this fall we are due to arrive in october ,always visited in warmer weather ,so will see We are in our mid Seventies,wish we were younger for we would come and stay for 3 months just to escape the FL. weather!!!
