Dane-and-Kahni---Its a city. Name one city with a water fall in it. Just like many cities are named after near by attractions or many sports teams are named after popular attractions that no longer exist there are many falls near and all around Klamath Falls. Many in Klamath County. There is limitless things to do in Klamath Falls. Maybe you should do some research before traveling to a city. In the age of the internet your comment really made you look uneducated. In this particular case you were very uneducated.
I loved Klamath Falls so much I am moving there and working in Medford until the company opens a KF location. There is a limitless amount of outdoor adventure and natural beauty there. It is an undiscovered gym. The largest country in one of the most beautiful states in the Nation and the least populated. Sounds like heaven to me. If you like taking a trip where you are not tripping over people, waiting in lines, on getting your wallet squeezed then Klamath Falls is the perfect place for you. If your wheels can handle it you can drive back into one of the few National forest to camp and not see another human for day. If you have a sprinter van or some sort of 4x4 adventure vehicle it is perfect for you.
The outdoor sports! Kayaking, biking, snowmobiles, jet ski's, wake boarding, fishing(lake and fly), the list goes on and on. If you are into a slower place the bird watching is second to none. Lot of retires moving here and lot of millennial's staying after getting a great education at OIT. I spent years scouting the best place to live and start a business and landed here. This place is the next Boulder or Asheville. Buying land here, investing in this community now will pay huge dividends in the future.
I started off just wanted to correct the Karen's comment but couldn't help but describe what an amazing place this is. Come visit. I promise you will at least consider staying.

If you would have taken the time and visited the Klamath County Museum, you could have seen old pictures of the "falls." After the dams were put in, they disappeared. Please don't come back...

Very nice people in Klamath Falls, interesting little shops, library, sweet downtown, lovely waterfront,Farmer's market on Saturday and good places to eat and inexpensive places to stay. But there are NO FALLS in Klamath Falls, not one. Every tourist that goes to Klamath Falls ask where the falls are and it is sort of a joke. Maybe you should change the name to "Klamath Rapids" or even "Klamath-no-falls". Or maybe y'all could chip in and build some falls to avoid disappointing the tourists, how about it?
We did hike for an hour behind the museum and saw some rapids (see photo) We tried to pretend that was really cool. I guess you get what you pay for.

Actually, there ARE falls in Klamath Falls... but not as you would normally consider. The town was originally called "Linkville" because the Link River "linked" the Upper Klamath River to the Lower Klamath Lake. On this river, there were some "dips" and some rifts of water flowing over rock tables. They city fathers around the turn of the last century wanted wealthy financiers from back east to invest in the town. They knew no one would ever invest in "Linkville," so they decided to make it sound like a resort town and call it Klamath Fallls. Their ruse worked and the town began to blossom.
A walk on the Link River trail will reveal the dips in the river that the town was named for.
One thing that will be noted is that the waters are highly eutrophic, meaning that there are significant algae blooms present. This is partially due to the warmth of the water which is heated by thermal activity. Much of he algae is harvested and sold as a health supplement.
So, yes Virginia, there are falls in Klamath Falls. However, they might not be as significant or beautiful as one might imagine.
