While I was down in Washington DC for business, My wife and I decided to go back to Georgetown and specifically the Waterfront Park area to eat and enjoy the vibe there. I was thoroughly impressed with the good vibes and young crowd there. It was a mix of families, young professionals, interesting characters and much more. And I felt comfortable there. There were beautiful boats and people enjoying themselves. We ate at the Founding Farmers location and it was great. very happy with their food !! Walked up to see the "Nona" making fresh pasta at Filomena's restaurant !! What a great place !! I was a little disappointed to see so much security but maybe that keeps the rowdiness down a bit during the summer. I took an Uber to and from and it was super easy. I would highly recommend it and check out my video on my Youtube channel!! Subscribe! thx 🙏

Nice park in Georgetown, along the waterfront on the Patomac River. On a nice day, it must be one of Washington DC's nicest places! Nearby are both boats and several times an hour air traffic is visible from Ronald Reagan Airport.

Very pleasant area with a few restaurants and a nice walking track along The Potomac River. The Water Taxi from The Wharf stops here (takes 45 mins)

An incredibly beautiful area to see the Potomac as well as strolling and people watching. We arrived quite early and all the waterfront restaurants were not open yet. There is a Starbucks nearby. However we were able to witness the rowers practicing this morning which was a plus!
I would love to live here! The airplanes flying out of Ronald Reagan Airport can be seen and heard so that might need getting used to if I lived here!
This is a 10 acre grassy park along the water. If one needs a sense of calmness and peace, come here!
From the waterfront, it is easy to take one of the side streets up to M street where many of the shops and restaurants are located. We were fortunate to take a street which crosses the C & O canal!

A nice way for a walk on the way to Georgetown from DC. There are some nice restaurants along this area as well. The weather was really lovely in April.

Great time in the waterfront, great picnic area, excellent route to walk and enjoy warmer weather. The beautiful Potomac River is great to enjoy, plenty of restaurant to dine in.

Close to the shops and restaurants of Georgetown, this park offered a peaceful escape. The paths were easy to walk and the view is not to be missed. Beautiful plants and water fountains. If it hadn’t been raining, we would have spent more time there. Great photo opportunities!
