Great Views of the River!
2021年11月
Went with a group on a guided tour of the Oxbow Trail. Beautiful views of the river and fun to watch boats go by. Don't wear your best sneakers this time of the year as the trail can be muddy. Nice pavilions and rest room facilities.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Park was very clean and taken care of. We stayed in site 25 right by showers and restrooms.

Moutain Bike Trails
2019年12月 • 家庭
There are surprising features in their trails but beware of rain as there is clay on the trails... can be very slippery. Very cool tunnels through the trees though and a nice flowy black run in the back.

Good parking picnic and bath room facilities. Lots of well maintained trails both in the woods and next to the river. No hills, but then it's Florida. wheel chair accessible except for trails.

Great find for a family bike ride and picnic. Adventurous enough trails for Dad but accessible enough for 10 yr old and mum

Scenic hiking
2019年1月 • 独自旅游
Caloosahatchie Regional Park is a Lee County gem. Located on River Road in Alva, it features, hiking, biking and equestrian paths as well as camping, a kayak launch and fishing pier. Hiking paths are not difficult. There is an ADA-accessible trail from one parking lot to a river overlook. The Shoreline Trail is a flat, easy and beautiful trail alongside the Caloosahatchie River. Parking is $1 per hour or $5 for the day. Parking lots, trails and restrooms are all very clean and well maintained.

3 mile walk in Callosahatchie Regional Park
2019年1月
Awalking group visited this really beautifiul park, only afew miles fro Fort Myers and walked 3 miles through well marked trails. The foilage is what Florida uses to look like, almost jungle like, but with many open areas also.
Our walk included a stop on the Caloosahatchie River which is stunningly beautiful at this park.Highly recommended for a change of scenery to old Florida.

Caloosahatchee Regional Park
2018年10月 • 好友
The Park located in Alva, has 768 acres of pine, scrub oak, cypress swamps, and oak hammocks along the Caloosahatchee River. You can paddle, bike, hike, ride horses, camp, picnic, for over 20 miles along the river. The restrooms have flush toilets and hot showers. The only problem, no pets.

Caloosahatchee River park - camping & adventures near Ft Myers, Florida
2018年1月 • 夫妻情侣
A hidden gem of a park located in the little town of Alva, Florida. Nestled along the Caloosahatchee River, you will find an adventure seekers paradise of mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing & camping in the South Florida wilderness. Adorned by massive 200 year old Live Oak trees, majestic Cypress and tenasious Sabal palms, this destination is the perfect overnight or weekend getaway for couples or family alike. Disconnect, destress & enjoy; this was our first visit, but surely not our last.

Quiet park along the river
2018年1月 • 独自旅游
Quiet park along the river with well maintained trails for biking/hiking, fishing pier, kayak launch, restrooms, covered picnic pavilions. You enter from North River Road. Plenty of parking and pay $1/hr or $5/day - put money in an envelope, slide it into the post receptacle and put the stub on your cash. Various trails are easy, flat and of varying length but mostly under a mile. Some run along the river and others are inland.
