We are fortunate to live in a subdivision that connects directly to the Greenway. It is a great place to walk and enjoy our Urban Forest. The ONLY negative is that some bike riders are going way too fast.

Nice area to walk or ride bikes. Can get busy on weekends, so keep watch out for people riding bikes to fast and dogs that are not on a tight leash.

The greenway is great for locals or visitors who want to get away from the hustle and bustle, while not having to go far. Paths are in great shape.

My son and I went here for an afternoon bike (me) and skate (him) adventure. It was a hot August day, but there is so much shade that we still enjoyed being outside. It is beautiful and worth a visit.

Very quiet peaceful trail next to the Big Creek waterway. A little crowded on weekends and near the parking lots.

My first time...I parked my car at Rock Mill Park and went left toward the YMCA (ascending order). Rock Mill has restrooms, water fountains, and a bike maintenance station. From there, the greenway stopped rather abruptly at a parking area a few miles in. I was on my bike; apparently, you can get in a 16-mile loop. I consulted a map later and it looks more like 14. Also, the stop is where the greenway is disconnected from its counterpart on the Forsyth side. It’s a decent trail. I felt safe and saw diversity. I’ll go again...with a better plan now that I’ve consulted a map.

We have enjoyed Big Creek Park for years! It’s wonderful for walking, biking running, and just enjoying nature. Love, love, love, this little piece of heaven!

A nice place to get out an enjoy the outdoor- clean, wide paved and boardwalks, mostly shaded too. Enjoyed walking many times and recommend to try...

Walking or biking on the greenway is one of our favorite things to do on a nice day. The area is level enough that you can easily push a stroller but has enough twists and turns to keep it interesting. There are also several places you can get off and stop for food just a short walk away. We regularly see wildlife; everything from chipmunks to deer.
