Fabulous experience ! All staff are so kind and never rush you or make you feel uncomfortable to dive , even if it has been awhile … like many divers ! They take really good care of you in and out of the water . Great dive sites for 2 and 3 tank dives . Felt like a family after diving with them several days . Highly recommended!!!

I'm a #fomo diver who's been turned into an enthusiastic diver. I've dived in half a dozen countries but never felt really relaxed. I did my refresher dive with Ecologic, 2 more trips & my first night dive - 6 tanks - and thoroughly enjoyed them. The crew were lovely, they listened and made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. I mentioned an adjustment to my setup and from then on it was done when I got there. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We have been diving Ambergrise Caye for 15 years, and have always had good experiences with the operations we have used, but the 6 days we dove with Ecologic earlier this month were especially great. They are smaller, take a max of 6 divers out (we never had more than 3), provide excellent equipment, and have very good communication. We had the same divemaster each dive, Greg. He planned dives really well, and suited them to our ability level and interests. He also taught us more about reef ecology and preservation than we had ever learned, and was expert at spotting interesting sea life. We look forward to diving with them again.

The guides were very informative and went out of their way to make the trip enjoyable. Were very good at pointing out things to see. Would have given 5 stars but felt that safety and reef discipline could have been emphasized more. Really enjoyed talking with Rob behind the counter and he was very knowledgeable about the reef and Belize. Easily the best of the three companies we used this trip.

AMAZING experience with Ecologic Divers. We had already snorkeled Hol Chan and Shark/Ray Alley (experiences they do offer) but wanted something different for our second day. We approached them about seeing more sharks and maybe manatees and they created an entire day based around what we were looking to do! How amazing.
Another couple joined in on the day and we had an absolute blast- 4 of us + two amazing guides (I believe their names were Clint and Ricardo?) for the entire day. It was magical. We ended up going to Coral Gardens, another Ray alley that had SO MUCH more wildlife and sharks than the one we went to previously, we did Caye Caulker, saw seahorses, and fed the tarpons. The manatees didn't want to play so they took us to see a ship wreck instead.
The entire day was so much fun for an amazing price- I can't say enough good things about it all.
Highly suggest booking here for a wonderful experience.

We spent three days in December diving and snorkeling with Ecologic and had a great time! Our guides Greg, Kenton, and Sarge were fun, super chill, and knowledgeable. Kenton literally towed my nervous self all over Hol Chan while I got over my fear of the water and was very kind about it 😆 Prices were very reasonable and I really appreciated both the small group size for our tours and the fact that they do not feed the animals at Shark Ray alley.

Fantastic shop with an incredible staff. We spend 6 days diving with then. Shout out to captain Russ and dive master Greg. If you are looking for personalized service this is your dive shop. Small boats with no more than 4 divers per dive master. And you stay down as long as you have air. No cattle car mentality for divers. Some pics from our dives

Did two local dives with divemaster Shorty and boat captain Greg. We had a great time! Shorty was a super knowledgeable divemaster. We are relative beginners and he made us feel comfortable, safe, and confident before, during, and after each dive. He had great local knowledge and a really good eye for spotting cool stuff underwater! And the diving is great here - warm water with tons of marine life. You can't go wrong.

Excursion: Cave Tubing, Mayan Ruins (Altun Ha)
We booked this excursion for 4 people and had a BLAST!
I found the Ecologic Divers website, and it was very easy to browse all the excursions they had to offer. We booked through the website and Kendall worked with us to secure payment, set up flights, etc. The process was seamless.
We stayed on the island of San Pedro. We took flights via MayanAir back to the mainland where we met our FANTASTIC guide who helped us with everything we needed. We didn't have to worry about anything. He provided water, lunch, and a informative/enjoyable ride.
We had a guided walk through Altun Ha and then went cave tubing. He was a champ every step of the way guiding us through the river and jungle. He pointed out several things and kept our minds working the whole time.
I would absolutely book with them again.

Great crew, local, nice gear! Very knowledgeable about the area. We spotted a huge sea turtle on our dive to Hoi Chan it was the highlight of our trip.

For dives in the local area (15-20 min) I think somewhere around 120-130 for a 2-tank dive. For the blue hole trip, which is a full day trip, 2.5 Hr boat ride out and 3-tank dive, you're looking at about 300

Good Morning! I'm visiting Ambergris Caye in mid July and have always wanted to scuba dive, but my girlfriend and I aren't certified. I'm curious to know if there is a class we can take to get certified while visiting? If so, how much time is needed to get the proper certification?

My husband and I took the reading/quiz portions online before we left for Belize. Once we arrived, we did 2 or 3 "tests" in the water. I felt like it was a free scuba dive, because we saw fish and other stuff while testing. I also felt more comfortable practicing the scuba in the ocean (shallow water) instead of a pool.
