We had a fantastic day with this company exploring Xunantunich and Cave Tubing. Sa'id (not sure of the spelling!) was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who picked us up from the Belize city ferry (coming from San Pedro) and spent the entire day hosting us. We highly recommend Amigos for any tour around Belize.

Had an amazing time with Junior taking us to Mayan temples, zip lining, and cave tubing. Long day that is perfectly planned for you and all you have to do is enjoy the experience!

The whole tour was well planned and really comfortable. We were picked up at our hotel, had breakfast and taken to our flight. Joe picked us up in Belize City and was a great guide and driver telling us about Belize. The guide (Eduardo) at Xunantunich had a passion for the site. Great lunch at one of Joe's favorite restaurants and then a really fun time at the cave tubing site. All in all a great day. Joe was a wonderful guide.

I did a Lamanai tour by air from San Pedro. It was great. We flew 15 min or so to Orangewalk where we landed on a runway in the middle of a field (think Narcos) and were picked up by a van that drove us 10 min to the river where we met our guide, Gilberto, and then an hour or so boat ride to the ruins.
He pointed out animals to us during the boatride, told us about Mennonites as we passed their village/farms and then guided us at the ruins. He was extremely knowledgeable about history as well as recent discoveries using newer technology. He was also very patient with the 4 year-old in our group. The lunch was fantastic! We had chicken with Belizean spices that was amazing, plantains, potato salad, beans and rice and something else. After lunch, we had some time to see the small museum and look in the shops and then a shorter boatride back to the spot we met the boat. We ended up going a bit further to another spot and Gilberto drove us to the airstrip as the person who brought us was called away. We were always well looked after and safe. Everything was professional and well run. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip.

We chose Amigos Jungle Tours to plan our tour of the Lamanai Ruins. They made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We were picked up on time at the dock in front of our house, served breakfast, transferred to the airport for our flight to Orange Walk Town. We were met by our guide from Lamania Ecotours and had a wonderful day. When we returned to San Pedro, we were promptly picked up and taken by boat back to our dock. The original day we picked for our tour was cancelled due to rain, but the company worked with us to reschedule. Highly professional!

We took my sister and brother-in-law on a trip to Xunantunich. Joe was our driver and guide to and from the site. He is wonderful! Very calm, kind and knowledgeable guide. Junior was our guide through the ruins and their surroundings. You could sense his passion for this amazing culture and its preservation. Looking for an amazing day, take this tour!

My boyfriend and I booked the Xunantunich and Cave Tubing tour through Amigos Jungle Tours and have no complaints! The night before our tour we switched from the water taxi from San Pedro to the mainland to the flight, and it was totally worth the extra money! They picked us up from our resort and got us breakfast for the plane ride. Nice breakfast burritos. The flight was quick and easy, and our driver Joe picked us up from the airport in a clean, well air-conditioned truck. He is very knowledgeable, made the long drive enjoyable, knew an AWESOME place for lunch, and stopped to get us fruit on the side of the road.
We went during slow season so not only were we the only ones in our tour, but close to the only ones at the sites.
We were able to climb the ruins and take as many pictures as we wanted. We had heard mixed reviews about cave tubing, but it was as fantastic as everything else. So incredible being in there.
Amigos Jungle Tours took care of us all day, and we would definitely use them again.

Our group of 8 split with half going to the ruins and the other half to zip lining. Amigos was able to accommodate our out of the norm request. We had an amazing time zip lining in the jungle. Cave Tubing was the perfect way to cool off. It was so relaxing and our guides were so knowledgeable. Our guide, Jerry, was awesome. He taught us a lot about Belize and was very good at taking our silliness in stride. He even stopped in Belize City to take some amazing photos with some of the Belize signs. Ask for Jerry if you can. He's the BEST!

Booked a 3 in 1 tour for Cave Tubing, ZIP Line and Mayan Ruins tour. We booked the tour in San Pedro. They came a picked us up at our resort and brought us back for a quick breakfast before taking us to the ferry back to Belize City. At Belize City Jose or Joe as he is know, met us at the ferry and took Excellent Care of us all day. He was with us all the way and was very knowledgeable and helpful sharing info about his homeland as we toured. At each place Joe knew the tour guides and made sure we were taken care of. It was a once and life time experience which was worth every penny.

We did the trip that includes the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich and the cave tubing and it was worth every penny! Amigos came and picked us up at the dock near our resort and then we took a short ride to their dock in San Pedro town to pay for our trip, then we were back in the boat and off to the mainland. On the boat they provided a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and breakfast burritos (SO good!) Then, once we had docked we hopped into the van and started the drive to the ruins (roughly 2 hours) our guides, Joe and Eric, shared a lot of information about Belize and the different towns we were passing through and Joe bought us some pineapple from a roadside stand on the way there. The ruins were so beautiful and you get to climb all the way up to the top. We were able to shop at some of the roadside vendors before hopping back in the van to go to the cave tubing. They bought us some delicious lunch on the way there. The cave was gorgeous and the water felt so cool and refreshing. When we got back into the boat we had a nice drive back to San Pedro and Eric dropped us all back off at our resort. It was the best day of our trip so far and I would definitely pay to do it again!!

The Mayan City had a little bit of a walk up a steep hill and a lot of stairs to climb to the top. The zip lining also included a lot of stairs. It was about a 1/4 mile walk in the dirt. Not very wheelchair friendly.

For the cave tubing water shoes is reccomened if you do not have water shoes they do rent them at the park. Your sneakers would be fine for the zip lining.

If I could only warn one person not to go here then I've been helpful. The staff is extremely selfish and dis-organized. I tried to work my issues out with management but no one was receptive. It's unlike any other company I've ever seen, they literally get away with robbery every day.
