Would definitely recommend Frenchies. Had a great experience and would highly recommend the shop - everyone was really helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed it because of our instructor Giovanni- he had such a calm and kind instructor which made doing our first PADI really fun.

Not recommended for Open Water Course if you are not confident with diving before the course.
I had a wonderful time since I have freedived a lot, so salt water in my eyes, feeling of a leaking mask and being deep underwater is nothing new to me. Sam was a cool guy for me and taught me well.
Sadly I can't say the same on behalf of my partner who had a horrible time, because there was absolutely no time for getting used to the idea of sinking to the bottom and trusting the equipment. We went straight to water around 5 m deep without the shallow water training and started the exercises. Since it took time for my partner to get out of the boat (Sam the instructor took off to the water before her) she was late for the exercises and was kicked out from the course.
All in all I would say that if you're comfortable with free diving then this is straight to the point type of school to get the license, but if you are not sure about yourself you are better off going to the Blue Wave Divers next door.

Frenchies was a great place to learn scuba diving! Sam Martin was the best instructor we could have hoped for. He was extremely patient and thorough. Truly enjoyed my experience. Highly recommended.

My husband and I did the advanced open water course with Frenchie's. Ilya, our divemaster, was encouraging, informative, and helpful. Frenchie's is well run. Their equipment works well, and they focus on safety. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. We especially enjoyed our dive at Spanish Bay. Thank you Frenchie's Team!

The Blue Hole snorkeling trip was awesome!! Snorkeling at the blue hole twice and Half Moon Caye was excellent. Marnie was a great guide, VERY helpful for those of us with somewhat limited mobility! We saw turtles and sharks and moray eels and an octopus among many other things!

Sam was our instructor and guide, we did the Open Water PADI course and did a few dives after we were certified. Not only was Frenchie's professional and quick to respond, but they could not have been greater people. Very fun, pleasant and enjoyable to be around. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience (I came down to Belize for the diving). It did not disappoint. I'd highly recommend Frenchie's.

Ich war Anfang Dezember auf Caye Caulker und habe nach einer Tauchschule geschaut, welche das BlueHole anfährt. Dadurch bin ich auf Frenchies gestoßen.
Aktuell sind die wohl die einzigen, welche von Caye Caulker zum Blue Hole fahren.
Die Damen am TauchCenter selbst waren noch nett und hilfsbereit, von den DiveGuides kann ich dies leider nicht sagen.
Es wurde direkt gesagt, dass wenn jemand früher keine Luft mehr hat, wird er alleine nach oben geschickt. Unabhängig davon, ob jemand sowas schon gemacht hat oder nicht.. fraglich!
BuddySystem oder ein Check des Equipments wurde nicht weiter durchgeführt. Man musste schon selbst alles machen wenn man auf Nummer sicher gehen möchte.
Für erfahrene Taucher natürlich kein Problem, einen Anfänger oder jemanden der sich nicht komplett sicher ist, ist hier ganz sicher falsch.
So etwas verstärkt das ungute Gefühl direkt um ein vielfaches!
Bei dem längsten Boottrip (BlueHole, welcher mit 1-2Stunden angegeben wurde) sind wir mit dem kleinen Boot gefahren. Und es hat geschlagene 3 Stunden gedauert. Das Wetter kann man nicht immer beeinflussen, aber man könnte zumindest besser vorbereitet sein und auch die Kunden informieren.
Hat man den DiveGuide dann mal gefragt, warum man hier nun nicht so lange unten geblieben ist oder warum man nicht mit der Strömung geht (auch um etwas mehr über die Gegebenheiten zu erfahren), wurde man direkt angefahren, dass sie schon wissen, was sie tun und was denn die Frage soll.
Unprofessionalität hoch 10!
Geblieben bin ich für 3 Tauchtage, da mir gesagt wurde, dass es dann 10% Rabatt gäbe. Am Ende wurde gesagt, dass es nur für halbe Tage zählt. Somit war es nur noch einer der drei Tauchtage bei mir.. wenn ich das gewusst hätte, wäre hier früher schluss gewesen.
Nach den drei Tagen bin ich zu einer anderen Tauchschule gegangen (ähnlicher Name, aber nicht direkt am Pier) und war begeistert. Es geht also auch anders!

Zac and Keemer took us fishing today for 4+hours. We booked a private, 2 person. Trip. My wife and I each had a blast. We got to keep our catch, after they cleaned em. They were helpful when needed and backed off when they saw we were comfortable and capable. Best saltwater fishing of my life..... Even when told..... It was a tough bite today.

On November 25, 2022 my husband, sister and I took a snorkeling trip to The Great Blue Hole with Frenchies Diving Services. What a SPECTACULAR trip! So worth the money, boat ride and time! The trip out was breathtaking as the sun was rising. The Great Blue Hole snorkeling was excellent- so many beautiful tropical fish and coral to look at. After the Blue Hole they took us to the most gorgeous island I have ever seen in my life- Half Moon Caye. We snorkeled there for over an hour, ate a delicious lunch beachside, got to see the bird sanctuary, and then took one more hour long snorkel out where reef meets deep sea. Absolutely amazing day would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Manni was our snorkel guide and he was excellent very knowledgeable and fun!

Had a brilliant experience learning to dive here. The instructors make sure you’re comfortable and make it really fun. Shout out Illys for being a great instructor. Best diving school on the island

What does this shop charge for diving what you could call non-specialized areas. We aren't necessarily looking to dive the blue hole but, rather get more diving experience since I'm a new diver.

They do have basic diving, snorkelling. You need to ask how they could Taylor it to you and your group.
