We had our resort book our tickets from Belize City to San Pedro. I was concerned about having enough time to retrieve our luggage from the US flight and recheck bags, so booked a flight 2+ hours after our arrival. It turned out to be a tiny airport that was very efficient, so we would have been waiting forever! Tropic Air personnel didn’t even need to be asked. They said they would get us on a plane ASAP, and would also call our resort to rearrange our ground transportation. We arrived before we were supposed to take off! It was a great experience and I’d definitely use them again!

They are courteous, on time and planes are comfortable. Tools flights to/from Belize City to San Pedro. In each case we were put on earlier planes. On the way to San Pedro they coordinated with our arrival hotel for transport (without us requesting) and on way to BZE our bags came early and were waiting for us. Lots of flight time options- highly recommend.

Professional and customer-oriented. Great short flight to and from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Wife's first flight in a Cessna Caravan, and loved it!

Flight left early from Placentia for Belize international but couldn’t fit one of my bags. They said it would be on the next flight 30 minutes later which it was.

We have taken flights with Tropic Air several times in the past 3 years. Their staff are outstanding. They are always pleasant, efficient, and ready to assist. The boarding process is well managed and organized. Airplanes are clean and well-maintained. Staff at the counter are knowledgeable and pleasant. They put us on an earlier flight when possible. Tropic Air staff contacted our hotel of the flight schedule change. A friendly and convenient way to travel around Belize.

I opted to check my carry on (standard sized cabin acceptable size) and underweight instead of taking it on the cabin with me for space.
Local staff decided to charge me in CUK on return flight when they wanted to check it on the way out to leave cabin space
Very poor customer service - will fly Mayan Air next time round, you just lost a customer

We were a day late arriving in Belize between bad weather and then the FAA grounding flights. The airline was 100% accommodating multiple times in changing our flights at no extra cost or hassle.

Our family took Tropic Air’s “Lamanai River Experience” Tour (booked directly from their website under “Tours” tab.) Everyone in our group loved it. We departed from San Pedro Airport at 8:00am…. Arrived 20 minutes later in Orange Walk District of Belize. We then boarded a river boat where we were lucky enough to see a Crocodile, Toucan, and a troop of Howler Monkeys in the trees.
Our Guide provided info about the history and culture of the Mayan Civilization. The highlight was the Lamanai’s Jaguar, Mask and High Temples. (Archaeological research has revealed that the site was continually occupied for 3,000 years until European contact.) We then had a traditional Belizean lunch of chicken, rice and beans, before boarding the river boat for the ride back to Orange Walk airfield. We arrived back in San Pedro by 3:00pm. Amazing day!

We fly Tropic Air when we go from Belize City to Ambergris Caye. Have flown with them 6 times and they never disappoint. Always professional and courteous even during hectic travel times. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The level of service is excellence. Flew to San Pedro from Belize city round trip for work and flight departure was on time. Crew was professional and aircraft are very comfortable. It’s important to understand that these are small airplanes so you can’t expect a 737-800 experience…
I weight 365 pounds and they had a seat belt extender. I fit just fine in the seats. Perhaps even better than any commercial flight.

Baggage is casual. I didn't see anybody weighing baggage. If you show up with two bags they will certainly throw them into the plane. Show up with three and you would have to smile nicely and show appreciation. Show up with five and there might be some questions about it.

Hello there,
Does any one know, if i can change my tickets from municipal airport to international airport..., The Reason i ask is because my plane is supposed to land at 3:45 pm, the last flight out of municipal airport is 5:30 pm for San Pedro. i want to save some money by flying out of municipal airport but just in case if i am stuck in long delay at immigration and customs i would like the option to change my flight from the international airport and just pay the difference..
