Truly once in a lifetime type experience. I cannot say enough about this amazing tour and our extremely knowledgeable guide Oscar! I can't imagine coming to Belize and missing out on this. I was a little nervous when I booked about the swimming and water crossings but don't be. Oscar made us feel so safe and comfortable that any worries I had quickly went away. I was also a little concerned about some of the small spaces you had to squeeze through since my husband is a big guy, 6'2" but again, no problem. The Belizean lunch served at the end of the day was the icing on the cake!

Epic! I had high expectations for the ATM Cave Tour. We've traveled extensively across Belize and this was our last bucket-list item and it was everything I expected and more. My husband and I are avid hikers so I can't really fairly describe the ease or difficulty of the experience. For us, it was a simple walk to the cave. The river was high and we're both tall, so that took a little more effort to cross. Once inside it was dark (obviously), wet and slick at times. Our water shoes from amazon worked great. There is a point where you are required to remove your shoes to climb into the cave.. I have tender feet so it was a bit more tricky. But, our guide Oscar was amazing. He told us exactly where to step. Which hand to put where, etc. It was very easy to navigate the darkness (with a headlamp) and his expertise. I am glad I had a helmet though, haha! Being 5'10" meant a couple head knocks on the rock. Oscar was not only helpful in the experience, but a wealth of knowledge. He told stories, related things from his childhood since he grew up in San Ignacio and often instructed us to turn off our headlamps to really soak in the experience. EPIC! Truly. Then, to finish it off.... Justin brought lunch that was homemade by his mom and absolutely delicious. Overall, great experience. I am so glad we got to see something so old, so unique, so full of history. Oscar even pointed out where past tourists had dropped phones and broken skulls and bones, hence why cameras are no longer allowed. It made it all the more apparent that our footprint is ever present. I may not have the pictures, but I have the memories which will last a lifetime.

The most wonderful experience I’ve ever had site seeing! My boyfriend & I went on 3 tours with Pacz (ATM cave with Oscar, Caracol with Mario & Cave tubing with Josh). Each one of them gave us a unique & unforgettable experience. All 3 were incredible knowledgeable about the areas they took us & made our experiences so special & memorable. I am so grateful to have gotten to see these gorgeous sites with such kind & knowledgable people. The lunches are also delicious! I will definitely recommend Pacz to anyone visiting Belize & will tour with them again when I return someday!

So, so happy we booked with Pacz to do the ATM Cave Tour! I cannot begin to describe how extraordinary the cave was, and getting to explore it with such an experienced and cool guide was the best. Shout-out to Justin for making the day extra great with lots of knowledge to share and fun conversation. (The team also make it super easy to reschedule when our original date got cancelled due to washout conditions.) Highly recommend!

We booked the ATM Cave adventure after being urged to by a couple of friends and sooo glad we altered our itinerary. PACZ provided transportation from our very remote lodge and lunch was included (delicious traditional Belizean chicken made by the owner’s wife). The tour itself was beyond our wildest expectations - think Indiana Jones/Goonies. Oscar has been a certified guide since the initial 32 guides were trained 18 years ago. He has Mayan ancestry himself and a wealth of knowledge. Oscar was such a steward to protecting this amazing living museum. A must do!

Excellent communication throughout our tour. Guide Hugo is very skilled at leading tours and knowledgeable about Tikal. He taught us history of Guatemala, the flora and fauna of the National Park, led us down trails to catch views of wildlife, encouraged us to not miss any experience, and was accommodating for age, disability, and our lack of heat tolerance! Border crossing was made easy and comfortable with Hugo’s direction and communication. Pick up and drop off and lunch in between were prompt. Delicious lunch along the way. I highly recommend PACZ tours!

We used them to visit Tikal and the ATM cave from San Ignacio area. They were prompt and well organized with attention to our needs, including our vegetarian dietary requirements. They communicated well via email and WhatsApp. The ATM tour was especially incredible. Thank you Pacz Tours (and the Mayans of course)!

ATM CAVE
The ATM Cave Tour was still the best part of our visit to Belize so far, it was a great adventure and a MUST DO. The guide was okay, he did a decent job explaining things.
CAVE TUBING
We did this after the ATM CAVE, so the experience unfortunately was underwhelming. I guess the part I dislike the most was, they ask you to carry around the huge floaty and walk 35mins in the heat. I really wish they had a better way to transport the floaties and not ask the tourists to carry them.
Our guide didn’t really help me at first, but did in the end when it was a shorter walk. I also had a hard time understanding him. I think I couldn’t have done without this tour.

We did the ATM tour with Pacz Tours, our guide was Oscar. We had an AMAZING experience - was our favorite tour of the trip. Be prepared to be wet 80% of the time. But this experience was unlike any other I've done, don't want to spoil it too much but it's worth your day. Definitely moderately strenuous, be prepared!

Great guides and tours! We did both the ATM cave and Tikal tours out of San Ignacio and it was so worth it. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

How is the availability of ATM Cave tour if I decide to book only a day before actual tour? Does it get sold out if I wait until the last minute? I don't want to plan much in advance, so need to know if it's usually available if I book just a day before?

We were there in high season - March and booked the day before as they had two spots left. I can't guarantee that is always the case but it worked for us.

Visiting San Ignacio December 8-12! Want to do cave tubing and thinking about ATM! My husband is 71 but in pretty good shape! Has torn his ACL- MCL ( knee) this year! Do you think touring ATM will be too hard for him? Also, can you pick up and drop off at hotel near San Ignacio town?
