The Falling Leaves resort arranged for two days with Cayo Adventures . Alan , on day one took us to the Mayan City of Caracol. We were glad we did not try to drive because the road is very difficult. Alan is a safe driver and knows the way. At the site, Alan was excellent at relating the history and traditions of the Mayans and the sites. We spent most of the morning at the site and had a light lunch that Alan Brought. On the way back , we stopped at the River on Pools for a quick dip and some nice pictures. It was a great day.
On day two Alan took us to the zip lines and then to the river to go tubing through caves. Alan did the hard work of guiding and pulling our tubes. Great adventures and another great day.

While visiting Belize we stayed at Table Rock and used Cayo for all our adventures. Israel is top notch and was the best guide I’ve ever had on a trip. So knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable even when pushing us to try new things- like eating termites and jumping into the water in a dark cave. Israel was patient with our 11 year old and he had our 13 year old experiencing new things in a safe way.
Jamiere (sp?)took us to ATM, while I was very nervous I felt calmer with Jamiere around! Again, we had a very knowledgeable and capable guide. He was also patient with the kids, me, and some older folks on the tour. ATM is fairly intense and I would not have wanted
to go without Jamiere!

The favourite part of our adventures? The people! Allan and Jam Jam were amazing! Allan took us to Coracol and cave tubing at Nohoch Chen. He was always knowledgeable and friendly and never made us feel that there was any rush. The same for Jam Jam. He was our guide for the ATM cave tour and his knowledge and passion for the significance of this amazing place is incredible. They, like everyone in Belize, were more like friends during our adventures!

Let’s talk about Allan first. He was THE BEST guide. Our first day of adventure with him took us to Caracol and his passion and expertise was absolutely amazing! We not only learned about the history of this beautiful site, but also history of Mayan culture, flora and fauna and all the birds! We also were lucky enough to have Allan for a trip to Ajaw chocolate for a lesson in Mayan chocolate making ( run by his sister and brother-in-law) as well as cave tubing. When you have a guide that is clearly so passionate about what he’s showing you, you are blessed and we were!! Allan also got us to the airport just in time for our flight to the islands and even stood by our baggage while we checked in. Always punctual and friendly! Do not hesitate to ask for him if you’re touring in Belize.
We also had Jam-Jam for our tour of the ATM caves. Again, we won the lotto with our guide! He kept us safe and well paced the entire time. Another passionate guide, his stories built on the foundation Allan had provided and took us deeper into Mayan culture. This excursion was by far the coolest! If you’re on the fence, get off, ask for Jam-Jam and GO!! You’ll be glad you did!
I would not hesitate to book with this company again. They clearly employ the best of the best. We came away feeling like we had made new friends and had exciting adventures!

Great service from end to end! We took the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins tour. Our guide Allan was so cool & knowledgeable about the site. We got picked up & dropped off all on time & had a fantastic lunch at Bennys Kitchen afterwards. That was a great recommendation by Allan. I will be booking many more trips thru Cayo Adventures for sure.

Israel was amazing! He met us on our first full day in Belize to take us to Xunantunich. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional but most importantly, he spoke with us and not at us. We were so glad when he came back to take us to ATM Cave and again to take us cave tubing. By the time we left he felt like family and he definitely made Belize come alive for us.

Alan was AMAZING! He was our driver that was contracted through our travel agency and I wish that we would have had him as our tour guide through Belize! He is SO knowledgeable and gave us so much information as we drove from point A to B! He gave us more insight than our other tour guides combined. He was professionally dressed and the vehicles were very clean. He was also extremely patient when we found ourselves needing a COVID test on a Sunday afternoon! We drove around town and I was in freak out mode but he was calm and SO helpful! We were with him for 2 days of transport and it was great! Thank you Alan!

Alan was a great guide on our first trip to Belize (seven friends celebrating a milestone birthday). Very knowledgeable and infinitely patient, Alan provided more insight into what we were seeing than many of the guides around us. Highlights were the great tour of Xunantunich and the amazing Mayan ruins and the cave tubing at No Hoch Cheen. Alan's English is excellent. His partner, Hugh, was the driver and lunch caterer. A very warm and friendly person, Hugh made us all feel at home. I highly recommend them.

We booked both the Tikal [Guatemala] tour and the ATM cave tour and were extremely happy with the service and our guides! They were knowledgeable, informative, and made the tours fun for us both! Would definitely use them again if we ever re-visit Belize!

I arranged a multi day tour through Cayo Adventures that included pickup and return to Belize city and was not disappointed. We had a different driver each day and all were very friendly and on time. On arrival our driver was waiting for us outside the customs checkpoint with a placard with our name. He drove us the 1.5 hours to our hotel in San Ignacio. The next morning Dora was along for our ride to Tikal but when we crossed the border to Guatemala we changed vehicles and drivers and picked up our guide Yumi who combined with Dora provided an encyclopedia like detail of the park history. We spent the night in the park, Jungle Mountain Lodge (also reviewed by me here on TA), and were picked up 10:30 the next morning for a zip line tour. We have done zip lines in Costa Rica which were incredible and felt these were not all that great. The zip lines here are right at the entrance gate to Tikal park - suggest a different excursion if you can. We were again escorted back across the border and to our hotel by our driver David who spent time driving us around San Ignacio city which we appreciated. The next day at 7:30 we were picked up and driven to the ATM cave. Our tour guide was friendly and made efforts to make sure everyone was safe and accounted for. The ATM cave tour is a MUST DO! Incredible experience but you will be very tired with sore feet after it's all said and done. After the cave tour and walk back to the staging area they had great local food, beans/rice, tortillas, and BBQ chicken with sodas/water ready for us. Once back at the main junction a new driver picked us up for transportation to the Belize city water taxi terminal and made sure we and our luggage was handled correctly.
