GREAT SHUTTLE SERVICE

When we saw the price of the airfares to fly to & from Placencia to Belize City we decided to treat our shuttle experience as a site seeing tour. We could stop along the way, the drivers were very courteous and informative. My advice, save the hundreds of dollars and spend it on beer & food.

The best way to get to the Belize City airport

We flew from Belize City to Placencia and it took about 35 minutes. So we decided to take a shuttle back to the airport and really see more of the country. With our shuttle, as with several of the others, we were able to make stops to see slights somewhat near the route. We got to drive the Hummingbird Highway. We stopped for ice cream, a tour of the downtown and government buildings of the Capitol of Belize, Belmopan. We the went to the Belize City Zoo, to lunch and then to the airport. All along the way we had a running commentary on the hisotry of Belize, the more pressing issues facing the country, the agriculture, the plants and trees. Basically we had a private tour guide and full day tour of the bottom half of Belize for the same price as a 30 minute flight. The straight drive is 3 hours, but we had a 6 hour specially designed tour. Highly recommended.

Great service!

Service was great! Communication was timely and all questions were answered! Our shuttle arrived on time and Josh our driver was friendly and informative! He was willing to stop anywhere we wanted to and communicated with our air b&b host to let him know when we would arrive and drove us right to the door! Would highly recommend this service.

Inexpensive rate to get to Placencia

We took the shuttle a few times and it worked well for us so we could save the cost of a taxi in and out of Placencia. Recommend if you find out the routes ahead of time. Never quite knew where we were going to be dropped off though.

Ferry from Placentia to Norwegian ship

The boat ride was on time and very comfortable, safe and fast. The employees were very nice. Cost was very reasonable and the waiting dock was very nice.

Not your average txi ride

The shuttles here are owned and operated by locals in their own family vehicles. During our stay, we used them almost exclusively and were quite satisfied with all of them. They are safe and plentiful. The people are very nice and family oriented. Also, you can't beat the price.

Alt to flying

Nice people to deal with and its cheaper than the puddle jumpers. Its not their fault that the hiways in
Belize suck, but they delivered us ontime and the driver even found our cane in the car and brought it back before our flight.

Belize City to Planecia

The shuttle driver was very helpful and friendly he took good car of us and gave us pretty much a guided tour from Belize City to Placencia showing us sights from a local's point of view.
