What a fantastic day! Manu is extremely professional and knows everything there is to know about beautiful Roatán. My husband and I went with Manu from West End all the way to the east side of the island and back again, stopping at all the interesting places in between. He even went out of his way to find some hidden places I had visited 20 years earlier. Manu is passionate about the island he lives on and truly cares about the children who live there. A wonderful person who truly showed us the heart of Roatán. Thank you Manu! Chelsea & Reid

Not only is Manu a fantastic and knowledgeable tour guide he is also a very likeable, humble and kind human being. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with him, touring the island. You can clearly see how much he loves the island and its people. Manu never tired of our unrelenting barrage of questions and because he is so well spoken and informed, I truly feel I got a good sense of what the culture of the island is all about. I would not hesitate to recommend him with a 5-star rating, to anyone who wants a trustworthy, interesting and enthusiastic tour guide. You will not be disappointed.

We took the sloth, iguana and beach tour with Manu!!! He did a fabulous job and more. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. When we were at the beach and my husband and son were out snorkeling, he came and checked on me to see if I was doing ok. He went above and beyond to take us to see everything that the island had to offer. We definitely recommend him and will use him again.

Manu is exceptionally knowledgeable about the island. You get insight that you just can't get from anyone else. He speaks several languages fluently which accommodates pretty much any visitor to the island. Travel around the island is in a nice clean vehicle with A/C. You can't go wrong with Manu as your guide!

My wife and I were staying at a resort in West Bay and wanted to go on a day excursion to see some native wildlife. Manu from Bay Island Tours was recommended by a friend. He was the best!!! Manu picked us up propmtly at our resort and we set off to see the Monkey/Sloth park and then to the Iguana Sanctuary. Along the way Manu pointed out many places of interest. He is very charming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Roatan. His van was super clean, had air conditioning and he was a very good driver. We had a wonderful day and learned so much about the island. Next time we visit Roatan and go on an excursion...Manu is our guy!

My Daughter and SIL took me to Roatan to look at houses/land for possible future retirement/vacation home. They had stopped in for a day Christmas time 2017 with their kids and all fell in love with what they found. We rented a VRBO in West End and while in contact with the owner before coming down we asked for recommendation for transportation. Should we rent a car/scooter, taxi or what. She wouldn't recommend renting a car and she chuckled at the idea of 1st timers renting scooters to get around Roatan. She recommended a local independent transportation service that directed some of the earnings to supporting a local charity for Bay Island Children (BIBVA). I figured who knows the Island better than a local born there and if at the same time I can help the less fortunate children, Excellent!
So we booked with BayITours for airport pickup, stop at Eldon's (American style Grocery) and drop-off at our place in West End. Manu (the owner/driver) answered every question we had on the ride, threw in a ton extra and a little about the children's charity. Was a great ride in an Air Conditioned van.
We booked with Manu to pick us up at the end of the week and to take us on a little trip around some of our favourite places to "say goodbye" before taking us to the airport.
I will book with no others next time I return to the Island in the new year ... only BayITours (Manu)

Manu was truly a suprise gem of our trip to Roatan. His knowledge of the areas,and his charming personality made you feel like a friend from the start. He was very accomadating and alot of fun to be around. Cannot wait to get back there!

We were a party of 5 friends that traveled to Roatan, Honduras for the first time in May 2018. Our reservation was move from West Bay to West End right in Half Moon Bay and it was the BEST thing that could happen and made our trip so memorable--we met Manu! We spent the whole day with Manu and toured the mangroves. We enjoyed a super fun lunch at Hole in the Wall. Manu shared so much knowledge about the island and its culture and his patience is that of a saint. He even mad a special trip back to our villa the next morning because I left my coffee creamer in his tour van. Now that's what I call first class, 5-star customer service!

Manu is the nicest, best tour guide around! Not only has he lived on the island his whole life but he knows just about every person we ran into! I felt completely safe touring the island with him and his knowledge of everything on the island is superb. We did the mangrove tour and it was incredibly beautifu,l going through the Venice of the Caribbean then exploring the dense mangroves by boat! Follow that up with a pristine snorkeling sport and you will have memories for a lifetime!

We met Manu at a party in West End. Manu is originally from Roatan, formerly a professional volleyball player. He is now back on the island where he is coordinating an association (BIBVA) dedicated to promoting sports to disadvantaged young children. It is also a tour guide and offers several tour options as well as custom tours. Manu is an extremely friendly and authentic person. He knows Roatan and its history, he will give you a ton of information and answer all of your questions! My boyfriend and I had a very enjoyable day :)
Nous avons rencontré Manu lors d'une soirée à West End. Manu est originaire de Roatan, anciennement joueur de volley-ball professionnel, il est maintenant de retour sur l'île où il coordonne une association (BIBVA) vouée à promouvoir le sport auprès de jeunes enfants défavorisés. Il est également guide touristique et offre plusieurs options de tours ainsi que des tours sur mesure. Manu est une personne extrêmement amicale et authentique. Il connaît Roatan et son histoire, il vous donnera une tonne d'information et répondra à toutes vos questions! Mon copain et moi avons passé une très agréable journée :)
