My son (13) and I booked a glass bottom boat tour before our cruise through shoreexcursiongroup.com. You can book ahead of time through this website or just show up that day. Roatan Aqua Tours can be found at booth #3 in the tour area just outside of the shopping area when you disembark your ship. The person who helped us at the booth was very friendly and was already expecting us for that day. He helped us to a van where there were 2 other families going on similar tours that day. All of us had signed up for the glass bottom boat, but the 2 other families had also booked some other stops for that day. More on that soon. Our driver and tour guide, William, started with a tour of the island. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped at a souvenir shop before heading to the glass bottom boat. There was no pressure to buy anything in the shop. The glass bottom boat was amazing! It was my son's and my first time doing that and we loved it. You sit in the bottom of the boat which is 6 feet below the water. We saw amazing ocean life and part of the 2nd biggest reef in the world. The guides on the boat were friendly and knowledgeable. After the boat tour, the others in our van were going to the animal experience where you can touch monkeys and hug sloths. William asked if my son and I would like to do that for an extra fee ($10 each) or, if not, he would take us for more of a tour of the island. I of course said yes, and we were not disappointed. Hugging a sloth was probably the biggest highlight of our entire vacation. This is a must do if you are visiting Roatan. After this, we stopped at a chocolate factory. The chocolate was very good so we purchased some to take home. Right across the parking lot from the chocolate factory is a souvenir shop that makes all of the products from recycled material. Very cool stuff in there. I suggest you check that out too. Next, one of the families in our van was doing a zip lining tour at South Shore Zip Line Adventure. William said that we would drop them off and then he would continue to take the rest of us on a tour of the rest of the island. Just as William was about to start the second half of the tour, the other family and I decided that we wanted to zip line as well. William had no problem with the changes and made sure that we had enough time to zip line and get back to our ship on time. The zip lining tour was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Again, the staff here were very friendly. It should be noted that my son and I did have to pay extra to take the zip line tour but it was well worth it. When we were done, William concluded our tour of the island and got us back in plenty of time. I highly recommend all 3 of these tours with this company. Request William as your driver/tour guide if you can. Remember to bring extra money for tips and maybe for extra tours that you were not expecting to do. It will be well worth it. This day was a highlight of our entire vacation!

All of our family snorkel, swim, and scuba except myself. Therefore I miss out on many water related adventures that my family engage in and love. This glass bottom boat allowed me to see the amazing sea life that I otherwise would miss. The guide did a great job pointing out sea life for both English & Spanish visitors. There was a great air flow from the AC which was perfect for anyone who might get nervous/motion bothered. I had no problems. We all absolutely loved this trip!

Enjoyed both activities. The glass bottom boat views were much like a diving experience expect you stay dry. Very informative, friendly guides. We followed up with a tour (thank you Elia and William) of the city stopping off at local shops and the Chocolate factory. CLEAN BATHROOMS at all stops. We then were taken directly to the Zip line center where we were nicely greeted by Andy and Troy. Wife and I were paired with another couple. None of us ever Zipped Lined. Both instructors we super nice and informative. We had a blast!

Our driver. William, was attentive and knowledgeable. The semi submarine boat showed great views of the reef.
The only negative was that we expected to spend time on the beach before and after the boat trip. Instead we had to spend time at souvenir shops and the chocolate factory, which we did not want.
However, it was still a good day and we would recommend AquaTours.

Booked this tour on Shore Excursions Group and want everyone to know if was a GREAT tour! Was only 4 of us and we had a great land tour including a chocolate factory.
The highlight for me was the Glass Bottom boat tour. While this was not a submarine the seat were below the water. Wonderful views and narration for an hour. Great reef, fish, turtles, sharks, etc.
Highly recommend Aqua tours.

The boat was an interesting experience. We saw lots of fish, turtles and some divers. When we first got on the boat they moved us to one end of the boat but I'm claustrophobic so they were kind enough to move us by the door. It is very close quarters so if you are extremely claustrophobic you might reconsider taking this excursion. Our guide for the whole trip, William, was great. We had a different guide on the boat. I can't remember her name but she was new and did an amazing job. She was very knowledgeable. We also went by their chocolate museum then to the beach for a bit before returning to the ship. I would definitely recommend this excursion. Also we were thankful we used bug spray before we left the ship.

This was my first visit outside the US. I’m so glad that this beautiful island was where I started my journey. The glass bottom boat tour was amazing. The guide was informative, friendly, and enthusiastic. The experience was one I’ll never forget. A special acknowledgement to WILLIAM...he safely guided us around the island and made sure we had everything we wanted. I’m ready to move to this beautiful island 🌴❤️

Had a great time. My wife & daughter loved seeing all the fish. The tour guide was friendly and helpful. The boat was clean and had AC, same for the van they used to transport us. We also did the beach break with this and loved the beach. It was small but there was only a handful of people there. The beach was clean and the water was clear. The food and drinks from the restaurant across the street was very good (the wait staff walked over to the beach and waited on us there).

We really enjoyed our day touring with Kenya to the chocolate shop and the glass bottom boat. Kenya was so easy to talk with and knowledgeable about island life. The chocolate shop was a great quick stop to learn how chocolate was made and to use the restroom. She also communicated with the glass bottom boat and was able to get us on the best time to work with our schedule.
We LOVED the glass bottom boat tour. It was such a neat experience being "under" the water and seeing all the beautiful fish and the reef. For our young kids, it was truly a great experience without having to be swimming. And we got to see the scuba divers exploring the reef.
The booth was easy to find at the Royal Caribbean Port (#3) and they were easy to communicate with. They even arranged for us to go to lunch after our tour. We would definitely recommend them for your tour around the island.

Without planning to do so, my wife and I took the PADI certified Open Water Diving Course offered by Aqua Tours located at Media Luna Resort, Roatan Island, Honduras. Julie Leroux the senior dive instructor on staff offered introductory "test" dives in the resort pool at no cost. From the get go, Julie made all participants feel relaxed and comfortable regardless of your prior experience level! The course itself was pretty intense with many equipment and safety exercises to learn and practice but Julie was very patient, encouraging and helpful at all times, never rushing us. Julie was very good at discussing the theory during our " classroom" sessions which were quite informal and enjoyable. When we became certified we received congratulations from the other instructors and staff, welcoming us to the large " family" of divers! Thanks again to Julie who made this possible!

We are signed up for the 9:30/10:30 tour on February 18. We booked through Shore Excursion Group. I am concerned about the actual starting time. A person who is presently on the Princess Sky said that they were docking at 10:20 am. at Mahogany Bay. I am very concerned about getting off this big ship, walking through the shopping area and up the hill to where we meet our guide. If we dock at 10:20 local time, we will miss this tour. What alternative do we have if we miss this time? Thank you,
