Excellent venue, staff and location. The entertainment (The Legend of Georgia McBride) was high quality and very enjoyable. Be sure to go and see any production at the Metropolis.

First, the good-I want to say Legally Blonde was amazing! The cast did a great job. The bad-no concessions because they want masks worn the entire time in the theater. Come on now-this is ridiculous! Also, covid vaccine cards are required. I was not aware of the vaccine card requirements until the day of since I didn't buy the tickets, a friend did. Being vaccinated it was not a concern getting in but had I known I would not have bought a ticket. The fact that this theater is denying entry and discriminating makes me sick and I will not be returning, neither will my family.

Really nice small theatre around 325 seats or maybe a little more in the cute town of Arlington Heights, IL. Saw an entertaining production of Legally Blonde. All seats are good.

We are pleased to be season ticket holders to the METROPOLIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE for some twenty years. We see four shows each season and look forward to the variety of shows they put on each season. Thank you Metropolis.

What a great experience. It was our first time. We saw The Christmas Carol and were blown away by the performance. It was a small theatre which was perfect for us. The cast of actors were outstanding. I had total perma-grin after the show and my mouth hurt from smiling throughout the show:). Would definitely recommend this theatre to anyone and we’ll definitely be back!!

Metropolis is a small-scale theater that puts on solid productions at a reasonable price. It is located in dowtown Arlington Heights where theater goers have numerous food and drinking options before and/or after a show. Free parking in the dowtown parking lot adds up to a fun evening.

As a 30-year subscriber to the “gold-standard” Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre subscriber, I did not expect much from a gift ticket set to Metropolis’ production of Anything Goes.”
SURPRISE! Kaity Paschetto as the lead carried the show, but to superb heights worthy of a Marriott presentation.
And the choreographer amazed to close the first act with 20 “dancing feet” doing a superbly synchronized and wildly entertaining ensemble number. . . Itself “worth the price of admission.”
Not often said by the undersigned, but “Don’t miss this show,” closing 11/9.

Went with friends to see the Buddy Holly Story at the Metropolis. What a great little venue. There is not a bad seat in the house. It’s a very cozy setting. The play was great with wonderful old tunes. In addition to Buddy Holly songs, there was the Big Bopper and Richie Valens tunes too. Lots of singing and dancing and a great place to have it. 👍👍👍

How lucky is Arlington Heights to have this cultural treasure in downtown Arlington Heights! Lots of close parking, restaurants near by, easy to get tickets, and great productions at affordable rates. Just saw Buddy Holly show and it was another amazing production. Check out their shows for next season. You will not be disappointed!

Yes, headphones are available at the Box Office.
In addition, Metropolis now offers a Telecoil (“T-coil”) Loop. A hearing loop broadcasts sounds directly from our sound system to hearing aids and cochlear implants.
The majority of hearing aids manufactured today come equipped with a T-coil receiver. It allows patrons the clearest sound possible with little background noise or distortion.
For the best listening experience, switch your hearing aid or implant to the T-coil or “T” setting.
If you cannot access your T-coil or do not have hearing aids, please ask an usher for headphones which you can use to receive the system at your show or event.
