My friends and I took this cooking class referred by our Riad and it was a wonderful experience! Samira was a great teacher and chef! She took us shopping for the food and explained each step in the cooking process. We enjoyed our dinner on the Riad’s beautiful rooftop.

I felt like cooking at a friend's house. Samira not only makes the best food but we had the best conversation. And she is a great photographer! I felt very at home and the food was delicious but yet very simple to make. And everyone else working at the Riad was so friendly and helpful. Giving me tips on how to haggle. I would come back here every time I am in Fes.

A beautiful weekend of 3 days / 2 nights in love. A very nice Ryad, always very well maintained, with staff with little care, very kind and available. Driss was everywhere, taking care of all our needs, serving us meals, and opening the door when we went out. Perfect stay, I recommend it.

What a wonderful 4 hours we spent with Samira at Riad Anata. She was such fun, generous in sharing her extensive knowledge of Moroccan cooking, and we ended up with a delicious 3-course lunch plus the knowledge of how to make it again at home - which we will!

I had 4 great hours with Samira. First the ingredients were bought in the Medina and then later prepared into a 3-course meal. Samira showed me the finer points of Moroccan cuisine. Although I am not a beginner cook, I learned new things. I enjoyed the meal together with the owner of the Riad, Valerie, on the great terrace. Everything was relaxed and I can only recommend the cooking course with Samira. Best wishes to both of you. Willi

Lovely location - kitchen is on the rooftop. Our class commenced with a visit to the market to buy produce and then take back for the class. If you are squeamish look away for the chicken purchase. They are always bought as live birds. We made a salad, tagine and dessert. To be fair Samira our lovely, passionate chef did more than half the cooking. We four 'students' were too busy chopping, chatting and having fun. However, we got lots of insight into how to make our cooking moroccan tasting and it is our fault we did not make more notes. Recommend the four hour class inc market trip - finished it on the beautiful Riad Anata roof terrace eating a delicious 3 course dinner.

A moment rich in culinary discovery and encounters!

A friend and I attended Samira's cooking class at Riad Anata. Samira is a wonderful, open and lovable woman who is bursting with energy. Samira went to the market with us, discussed with us what foods we wanted and created the menu. While we were chopping, she told us a lot about Moroccan cuisine and cultural customs. The food was terrific 💖. If we were to be in Fes again, we would definitely book a cooking class with Samira again. The riad where the cooking took place has a wonderful outdoor kitchen and a roof terrace with beautiful views of the medina.

Magnificent little Riad, with a refined and unique decoration, like its owner Valérie.
Very warm and professional staff.
Samira's breakfast and meals are extraordinary, don't miss her cooking classes, to come back and share her culinary know-how.

We are delighyted to welcoming you at riad Anata for a cooking class on April 27th ( It is better to avoid Friday, most of markets are closed).
You will discover the secrets of the best Moroccan cuisine recipes in a genuinely relaxed atmosphere with Samira.With her "hands-on" approach you will be able to surprise your guests back at home.
More than a traditional Moroccan cooking class, this is a complete immersion into the Moroccan culture.A demo that takes you out in to the medina shopping.
Dishes are prepared while learning the cultural significance of food in Moroccan life.
Then, enjoy the fruitof your labor while overlooking the city from the terrace.
Our standard rate is 50€/pers.
The class starts generally at the end of the morning ( 10:30am).
