These are not correct answers at all. All people are allowed in the masjid (mosque in Arabic). However, they need to adhere to the masjid's rules, such as no shoes inside, no alcohol or cigarettes. If a non-Muslim wants to go inside, its best that they ask the admin of the masjid first, only so that they show them around and explain to them properly about Islam. If some masjids in the Middle East (for example) do not allow non-Muslims inside the masjid, its because of their wrong interpretations of Islam. As for women, majority of Masjids allow women in the masjid. Some masjids do not allow women, but that is a clear VIOLATIONS of the commands of Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) when he said " do not prohibit your women from praying in the masjid". However, in Islam, going to masjids for women is NOT obligatory as it is for men. Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) told us that its better for woman to pray in their houses than in the masjids/mosques. The reason for that, is 1) so that it easier on women to practice their religion, as going to other places can be hard for them. 2) because women take care of the house and the kids, so adding the obligation for them to go to masjid would be too much. 3) so that they dont mingle with men, and that can distract men from their prayers. However, it is NOT prohibited at all for women to go as long as they observe the "hijab" (body coverings) and as long as they are decent. Islam is a religion that protects the society and has its own rules that Allah (sw) has ordained for humans (and he knows us best being the creator).
