This was an amazing family holiday, which worked for adults, teens and even the hard to please 9 year old. Our guide, Karma, was very happy to adapt plans to our interest; the highlight was a day trek to the Tigers Nest, approaching from the back, arriving mid afternoon - and being the only visitors there. Accommodation was comfy and big enough (not always the case when you’re a family of 5), food plentiful and the driving careful and well spaced out. No one felt car sick, which was miraculous! Thank you Karma and the team at Bhutan travel club, for the trip of a lifetime.

I did the above over 6 days as I didn't have enough time.
Rigzin organised the trip and was meticulous in meeting my needs.
Jigme my guide together with Kim the driver were excellent and I could not have any one better. Both were extremely thoughtful and helpful and went out of their way to please me. Bhutan is beautiful and the people so friendly. Tigers nest the highlight demanding as it was especially for me having just returned from trekking to EBC in Nepal is something I would not have missed - its a sight to behold.
BTC is a well organised, coordinated organisation well run and would recommend them to anyone intending to visit Bhutan. I certainly would if were to visit Bhutan again.

We had an amazing time in Bhutan thanks to Bijay! Traveling for me is to meet new people, new ideas, new perspectives, and grow as a person (hopefully all while having fun). Both Bijay and driver Siddhart are very fun guys who are very experienced in what they do. Bijay knows a lot about the history of the country as well as the best places to go for food. I felt incredibly welcomed.

Bijay is friendly, enthusiastic about sharing everything about the history and local culture and food. Bijay definitely added a lot to our trip.
Bijay is excellent guide - fantastic English. They (with great driver Sidhart) can customize tour to your liking.
Fascinating and rich history and beautiful surroundings. Modern cars, excellent knowledge - this tour has it all. They’re Bhutanese and have a good understanding of the history of the region and the Bhutan people. Very insightful and no question went unanswered.

The landscape was Great and the people so friendly and helpful. The Sights were interesting and our guides well trained and much caring for us. The roads are good and we had a comfortable car with a good driver!

Great landscape with breath taking views, beautiful temples and dzongs, comfortable hotels and nice food , very nice guides , speaking excellent English, from whom we learned a lot about Bhutan and Bhutanese people.

My partner and I did a customised 6 day / night trip with BTC which was planned to perfection by Pelden and his team. The process of booking was very smooth and user friendly and even last minute requests like changing hotels were accommodated. Pelden and the team arranged everything from hotels to travel within Bhutan to optional extras (we had a great day mountain biking in Thimphu) based on our preferences, as well as the international flights into and out of Paro. They were also extremely responsive by WhatsApp and email to our questions in the run up to our trip, eg in helping to suggest items to bring for our packing list and small things like letting us know what the weather would be like. It really was a door to door service.
As for the tour itself, the itinerary was perfect for us. We saw all of the major sights we wanted to see, including an incredible hike up to the Tiger’s Nest, Punakha Dzong, among other sights, as well as being lucky to have our trip coincide with Paro festival. Special mention as well to our guide and driver, Norbu and Rigden, who greeted us warmly on day one at the airport and guided us through their beautiful country all the way until our flight back home on our last day. They were incredibly warm, knowledgeable, polite and a joy to spend time road tripping and hiking with. They were very flexible and good at adjusting their planned itinerary based on our preferences as well, eg to cut a hike short if we were tired, or go to try to see some extra sights in a day, or just to try different restaurants based on our preferences. We really felt so well looked after throughout our trip and it was sad waving the guys goodbye at the airport.
Overall we were very impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and super hospital service we received throughout our trip (and the pre planning for our trip).
We would 100% recommend BTC to anyone who is looking to explore Bhutan for the first time.

The tour was very well planned and organized, from the reservation stage to the trip itself. Bijay, our guide, was very knowledgeable about Bhutan’s history and points of interest. Both him and the driver were punctual, discrete and very helpful in all aspects. Hotels were basic but clean and with friendly staff. Food maybe a challenge sometimes as the country culinary is quite different from western standards with not much variety. In summary, the trip was memorable.

En fantastisk ferie venter for de som booker tur med Bhutan Travel Club.
Pga et benbrudd 3 uker før avreise fryktet jeg at turen til Bhutan måtte gå ut.
Men Sherab Dorij i Bhutan Travel Club snudde seg rundt og laget en 4 dagers biltur for meg og min kone, mens de andre i følget gikk Druk Path Trek.
Ydmyke og servicemindede folk overalt, rent og pent, ja, søppel var nesten ikke å se.
Anbefales for alle som vil oppleve noe genuint og utenom det vanlige 👍👍

A wonderful journey in Bhutan is over. Left with many good memories from a trip with exciting experiences and impressions every single day. The stay was 100% successful thanks to the wonderful people at Bhutan Travel Club. We were very well looked after, so the whole stay felt safe at all times and the guides were very knowledgeable. Bhutan has an exciting history, fantastic architecture, beautiful landscape and, not least, a wonderful and friendly population.
Can strongly recommend Bhutan as a travel destination and not least use of Bhutan Travel Club with tip top service.

BTC was helpful and responsive from the start. I highly recommend them. They even changed our itinerary at the last minute because we weren't feeling up to the trek (long story). They were lovely hosts.

Hi all, I traveled to Bhutan about 5 years ago. Had wonderful time. Beautiful country. I still have Bhutan bank notes that I have not been able to get them exchange back to Australian dollar. Would anyone know how/where I can get this exchange? Thanks in advance.

You might try taking them to a bank which can arrange exchange for you. Our banks offer such a service, for a fee, of course.

i love all the glowing reviews for this company but i wonder why it’s not listed on the tourism.gov.bt site? i thought all licensed company’s were listed there??

Gish, I couldn’t tell you because I am not familiar with that site. The government definitely knows about them because the Bhutanese system requires you to pay your money to the government, who take their cut and then pay the travel company. Of course I do not have experience with any other company, but we were very pleased with this one.

Bhutan Travel Club has a contact form on their website, which is also informative and beautiful. I suggest you contact them via their website. I tried to enter the url but got an error message from TripAdvisor saying answers can't include website links. So you'll need to look them up online. But next month seems too soon since it takes time to get the required visa! good luck.
