We were 2 female travellers all excited to plan our first holiday to Bhutan. We happened to contact Bhutan Rovers and Rigzin was promptly answering all our queries no matter which hour it was. Even when he was on tour with other guests, he replied to all our questions and made sure we were happy with the itinerary of 8 days.
He was not able to join the tour but made sure his best team receives us. Tashi - the guide and Karma - the driver received us from the airport and were with us till the very end. The tour was so well executed, the team ensured all our requests were honoured. Tashi took us to all the shopping places and also helped us get the best bargain! He never seemed tired and was always enthu to help us. Truly became our friend, philosopher and guide :).
Even Karma dug out the best of local restaurants since we insisted on local food and not the tourist restaurants. We were lucky to have the simple and sumptuous home cooked Bhutanese food throughout the trip. Together the team kept us entertained - be it music, food, shopping, sightseeing, and went out of the way to ensure we had a great holiday.
Out Bhutan trip was truly exceptional and memorable because of Bhutan Rovers. We were happy that we chose them. They became our extended family and we didn't home too much ;) Can't wait to go back! Would definitely recommend Bhutan Rovers to discover Bhutan and have a lifetime experience!

I began my interactions with Rigzin of Bhutan Outlander Tours more than 2 months prior to my tour date. Each interaction was promptly attended to and I had succinct and exhaustive feedback from him. Rigzin regularly kept in touch in the run up to the trip, which I very much appreciated. Before I left India, each and every aspect of the tour was neatly secured.
Since I had fixed the hotels over a month in advance I was upset on arrival to know that 3 of the hotels of my choice had been changed by Rigzin. On my request, out of the 3 hotels changed , 2 were made available back to me as per my original choice. During the stay at these 2 hotels, I realized to an extent, as to why Rigzin had made the changes. Bad food and bad attitude of the hotel staff not only to us as guests but also to our guide and driver who were ill-treated by these hotels. Though Rigzin had decided correctly and in my best interest, my only grouse is that, he should have informed me about the changes and the reasons for it, as there was sufficient time to do so.
The vehicle provided to us was good - an Ertiga ( almost new ) and very comfortable. Tenzing our guide and Kinley our Driver are excellent human beings. Not only were they very informative on a wide variety of subjects concerning Bhutan, they went out of the way to make us comfortable and were always concerned about our well being. Needless to say at the end of the trip I felt sad parting company with them.
Some of the highlights of my tour for which I would recommend Bhutan Outlander to all :-
a) Fantastic Guiding & Driving by Tenzing & Kinley. Genuine interest in our comfort and well being. No task was difficult and none of our demands were ever refused. They never let us carry even our small pouches or bags - they would do it for us. On my 3rd day of the tour I had left my purse behind at the Dochula Pass café and after having driven 3 hours realized it during a pit stop. Thankfully, due to Tenzing's intense efforts another tour car managed to pick it up and deliver it to where we were about 4 hours later. Whew! Everything intact and delivered with a smile and my efforts at giving a token of gratitude - refused!
b) Meal stops at hotels as per our choice and cuisine of interest
c) Flexible timings - they did not rush us at any point. We did everything very leisurely and at our pace. Woke up late a few times but were met with smiling faces and cheery "good morning" wishes
d) At no point did they recommend or force any "touristy shopping" on us.
All in all a pleasant and enjoyable experience with Bhutan Outlander Tours. I will go with them again soon! Thank you Rigzin, Tenzing & Kinley!

We had a fantastic trip to Bhutan. We used Bhutan Outander for our tour arrangements. Everything was perfectly done from our visa arrangements to our flights to our hotels. We were taken care of from beginning to end which made the trip very easy. Rigzin was very informative and accommodating. He catered our tour to our interests. We had a very comfortable vehicle and a fantastic driver. Our hotels and the food was reasonable although we asked on several occasions to change from the normal tourist restaurants to more traditional Bhutanese restaurants and were accommodated.
Travelling to Bhutan may not work as well for a very independent traveller as you have to pay for a tour and the guide tends to be with you most of the time. Having said that, we could go out in the area anytime we wanted alone. Our guide only wanted to ensure that we were happy and taken care of at all times. If English isn't your first language you may want to request that you have a very strong and clear English speaker. While I had no problems with Rigzin's accent, as my first language is English, my travelling companion, whose first language is Spanish, struggled a bit to understand.
All in all the tour was great and I feel Bhutan Outlander did a great job and I can happily recommend them.

I travelled with B.O.T in may 15 , and i have to say , had an amazing experience. Rigzyn himself made it to this trip , and he has a great pulse on the "travel experience" . Im not a big fan of scheduled holidays , but this was organised in a way that you didnt miss the important stuff without feeling rushed. Everything was organised beautifully, our stay was super smooth and the people from B.O.T were great people to hang out with as well. I would go back all the time. !

Bhutan is a tiny kingdom yet it offers the best of the best things in the world and most importantly, scenic nature such as snow caped mountains, waterfalls, valleys and rich flora and fauna. the people are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The service provided by Bhutan Outlander Travel was just amazing. It was worth a visit. Thanks Bhutan Outlander Travel for everything. If time permits i wish to visit again.........

Bhutan a country we visited for 8 days. We week magnetized by this beautiful, fascinating and picturesque country. The distinctive and ingenious architecture enchanted us. The fresh air filled our lungs, we felt refreshed and exhilarated.The tour guides and drivers from Bhutan Outlander Travel professionalism and corners made our trip unforgettable. Each and
everyone we met was sociable, hospitable and sincere. The haunting food Ema Datshi (the National Dish of Bhutan),momos and other cuisines were yummy, tantalising and palatable. During the 8 days in Bhutan, we were well taken care by the staffs of Bhutan Outlander Travel. Thanks and appreciated for their sincerity and warmth to make this trip memorable. We went for Bhutan tour with our travel friends and family. While we contact with Bhutan Outlander Travel Mr Rigzin namgyel responded to our mail so fast. The doubts we had were all cleared by him. The trip to Bhutan arranged by Bhutan Outlander Travel was amazing and memorable. The driver sonam and guide Tenzin were well mannered and most knowledgeable and experience individual. we really enjoyed the trip and thanks to Bhutan Outlander Travel. Thank you so much for writing to us. Yes April falls as Pick Season in Bhutan and its is a good time to visit Bhutan.
