When my mother and I decided to visit Nepal, we knew we wanted to go on a trek in the Himalayas. As we searched for companies to help us with the trek, we came across Adventure Great Himalaya Treks & Expedition.
From the start, they were incredibly helpful and answered all our questions quickly.
This was our first time trekking in Nepal, so we didn’t know what to expect, but they explained everything we needed to know in detail. We started our 7-day Langtang trek on February 7th, and it was an amazing experience.
Our guide, Nanda, was extremely helpful and friendly, and our porter made sure we were enjoying our trip. They assisted us with everything we needed. The natural scenery was absolutely mesmerizing, and the entire experience is one we will never forget.
We’ve already decided that as soon as we have the opportunity, we will return and we’ll definitely choose the same company, guide, and porter. I can’t recommend them enough, and I’m sure it will be an unforgettable experience for anyone.

Contact Babu via whatsapp for a price on the Poon hill + ABC 7-day tram, which is reasonably priced so it’s agreed immediately and not disappointed.
We traveled with 4 people, 1 guide, and 2 butlers.
Very strong, very fast, polite and hospitable.
Our guide Janak Karki took great care of us throughout the trip.
If you visit Nepal again, you’ll definitely opt for this company.

In October 2024, as a group of 4 friends, we completed an 8-day trek to Annapurna base camp through Adventure Great Himalaya Treks and Expedition agency from Kathmandu. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our guide Shankar Kharki and the porters for the great service and friendly attitude throughout the trek. Of course, thanks also to Babu Kharki and his brother for perfect preparation of the trek. Thanks guys.

My group of 5 friends and I went on the lang tang valley trek arranged by Mr Babu in mid Dec. We were guided by Nanda and Ramesh was our porter. They took great care of us the entire way and gave us the best experience, especially helping us move efficiently when we were all moving at different pace. We felt very safe throughout and are eternally grateful for their experience! Thanks Nanda, Ramesh and Babu! I highly recommend this tour agency for your Nepal trek :)

The hike was really good. There is nothing to complain about. Best experience By the end of the hike most group people got sick because of the Khumbu Cough. A few who didn't get sick also got sick in Kathmandu due to the pollution.
So, be prepared for that.

We did the Annapurna base camp via Poon Hill trek, and it was a really good experience! We got Ramesh, Gokul, Raju and Janak as guides, and really happy with the team, amazing people 😄

Our trek of the Annapurna Circuit via the Nar-Phu Valley was everything we hoped for. Our guide and porter took us through each day with knowledge and experience.
Everything was top notch and exceeded our expectations.
From the initial contact to the final taxi ride to the airport, Adventure Great Himalalya Treks were great!

Exceptional experience on the 6-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek. As new visitors to Nepal the expertise and hospitality of our guide and porter, Nanda and Gokul, ensured that we had a great experience. We were taken to the best teahouses at all of the camps, and they made sure that we had a good time throughout, tailoring the experience to our needs. I would highly recommend this company!

A well managed trek. Included accommodation and cultural tours in Kathmandu and Pokhara. All the transport links worked well. Trekked for several hours most days. As expected rooms and meals on the trail were basic. Some trails in the Annapurna region were great, others were challenging. The trip succeeded due to excellent support from our guide Shankar. He kept us going when the going got tough. We loved seeing all of these mountain giants from different angles. Breathtaking ! Also thanks to Mr Babu for fixing some practical issues. We really appreciated the efforts of the entire AGH team.

Can't say enough about this family run company. From our first online encounter to our final dinner together in Kathmandu Babu and his team provided a trip of a lifetime experience for our family. He was able to customize the adventure to our needs, skills, and desires in a way that reflected his genuine concern for each and every member of our group getting the most possible out of our experience in Nepal. Special thanks to Babu, Gokul, Dinesh, Ragu, Hem, the porters and all the other wonderful people that make Nepal dear to my heart! Never Ending Peace And Love!

I have a couple questions regarding this tour. What are tipping practices (American dollars or local, and how much and when), and how much English is spoken? Do we need an introduction to Nepalese language course to get by?

We tipped the guide & assistant guide in the local currency, and they distributed shares down to the porters. Both the guide and his assistant spoke English (as well as a few other European languages) and a few of the porters did too. So you will not need to learn Nepalese, but of course it will very much appreciated by the people you meet along the way!
