A Durbar Marg Street Katmanduban a nagyvárosok bevásárló utcáira hajaz.Mintául veszi őket,de nem tudja megvalósítani azt a fogyasztói társadalom által elvárt szintet,amelyet egy ilyen utcának teljesítenie kell.Üres helyiségeket,ürességtől kongó boltokat bőven lehet találni itt a Thakale szívében.Persze a működő boltokban jó színvonalú az árú,de jó az ára is.Világszínvonalú az ár.Ez az utca megdobogtatja az európai utazó szívét a bazárok előtt és a bazárok bejárása után is.Hasonló,mint más nagyvárosokban....

heart of KTM city. many nice hotels, cafes, restaurants and shops are located here. relatively cleaner and nicer place. I liked this place. can have big traffic in the rush hours time.

Durbar Marg (street) pretty much has everything you would need, if a little more upmarket than all you can get in Thamel.
Decent hotels nearby and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops.

Questa via non è molto centrale, fa già parte dell'area più nuova di Kathmandu.
Collega la zona di Rana Pokkari con la zona sud-est di Thamel.
Ci sono molti negozi, ristoranti e hotel ma c'è anche molto traffico.

儀式が行われるトゥンディケル広場を左手に見て、北に面して正面がナラヤンヒティ宮殿となる大通りです。交通量も結構あるので埃っぽさは半端ない。ただ、通りに面して銀行や観光案内所、高級ショップなどもあり、訪ねる機会があるかも。時計台やラニーポカリの裏手でもあります。

A busy street with loads of energy, restaurants, shopping, bars and coffee places. You can spend time on the first floor of the many restaurants here and watch the world go by. You can walk from here to Thamel the other shopping and food place.

Einkaufsstrasse im westlichen Stil, welche wir auch in den eigenen Breitengraden nicht zwingend besuchen. Thamel ist für uns das Paradies, auch wenn natürlich ein wenig touristisch, aber einfach mit Charme, authentisch und bodenständig. Die Durbar Marg muss man nicht zwingend gesehen haben.

This is a larger and typically chaotic and busy street in Kathmandhu and there are better places to spend your time. For shopping and atmosphere and ultimate chaos go into Thamel

Hi I’m just wondering if Pizza Hut And KFC is still on Durbar Marg, as when I google it a lot of websites say it’s shut due to the earthquake in 2015. Thanks Chris

It is. We in fact are at the Pizza Hut and it was lovely. The masala lemonade in a pitcher was just what the doctor ordered on a muggy afternoon
