Visited in December 2022. We went to this place as part of a full day sightseeing tour. This temple does not an entry fee. We need to climb few steps to leave our footwear for free and then few more to reach the top where the temple is located. Place is neat and clean. There is a viewpoint where you can take some good pictures.

Our guide took us to this temple on our way to Sarangkot. What a treat! This is the oldest Hindu temple in Pokhara. It is quite beautiful and the grounds are large so it does not feel crowded. If you are lucky, you may see a wedding party like we did! Worth a visit.

The Bindhya-Basini Temple is located high on a hilltop at the outskirts of Pokhara. This temple complex is small in size. I have read that this Temple is still being used for worship by both the Hindu and Buddhist followers in the area. This Temple location is also popular with the tourists, apparently for the scenery - mountain view and Pokhara city skyline. However, in my opinion, I believe that the scenery at the Peace Pagoda was even nicer for photography with clearer views of the area mountains and Pokhara city skyline.

a small temple in the pkr city. located on a small hillock. the view is good on a clear day. a bit overrated due to the spiritual reason. nothing significant to see.

One can not imagine having gone to Pokhara and not gone to this place, Bindhya Basini Temple. This is both from religious point of view as well as the beauty of snow laden mountains. The temple provides a unique spot for photography. Temple is utterly clean and one can enjoy the darshan in the serene atmosphere. From a specially provided spot for photography one can take photos of snow mountains of Annapurna range to heart' content. Early morning these mountain provide a special effect of sun's rays.

We went here in the morning. Many local people came with offerings, to show their respect. Easy contact with the locals, nice to exchange some personal words. If weather permits stunning view of the Annapurna
