A great evening was had watching Thai football team play Vietnam. The result of the game was not to our liking but that did not spoil the excitement of a great experience.

A huge stadium, having read the reviews, we stayed in advance at a hotel nearby on the day of the concert - for which thanks to the responsive people! We arrived at the stadium 1.20 hours before, managed to do everything - exchange personalized tickets according to the documents, and went through calmly without a crush - it was very thoughtful and organized! After the concert, it was not possible to buy an official one. Gifts from Bruno, but at a reasonable price they were also bought by local shoppers, etc.
There was a huge food fair outside, if you came early you could have fun near the stadium.
The stadium is closer to the airport, which made me very happy.

The stadium is the venue for all major music concerts in Bangkok. Its huge and once inside its wonderful. But the challenge is getting there. There is no metro / subway near the stadium so reaching qnd getting back is a real issue. The roads leading to it get jammed so even taxis and tuk tuk don't reach the gates. Plus for big concerts the rates go crazy. On way back after conc5, tuk tuk drivers ask for 3000 baht for a short trip which should cost 300 baht. To have international level concerts and make no travel /traffic arrangements is poor management atleast extra busses to the city can be arranged in the least. Plus is hot weather this open venue isn't the best experience. Bangkok needs to learn from Singapore to host international events. A venue without public transport and no alternative arrangements isn't a great idea for a big event.

We were at the Ed Sheeran concert last night in this stadium!! The concert was amazing and lasted a total of 3 and a half hours!!! With a first part of 1 hour!! So from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.!! Plan to eat beforehand if you go to the concert because at the entrance they don't allow bottles of water or food, normal, there are plenty of stands inside once you pass the gate!!
I even suggest you arrive early because there are tons of little stands!! For transport, it's another story... but not so complicated if you are warned and if you organize yourself... there are still 50,000 people arriving and leaving at the same time... normal for things to be blocked! !
We took the will get to come by grab taxi (there were 4 of us) especially take the Zion highway it's hell, it will cost you 100 baht more but you will avoid 2 hours of traffic jams.. once the taxi 🚖 almost arrived.. it's a little blocked and it's clogged.. if the taxi offers you to take a Motobike, do it because generally, he knows what he's talking about... it's even funny because you'll see motorcycles on the highway taxi which are parked on the side.. they know well how it goes on concert days… we took the motorbike taxi for the last 10 minutes.. allow a total of 1h30 of transport if you come from the center of Bangkok..
for the return, at the end of the concert, only one word of command, walk and get a taxi much further away.. we went from a price of 2000 baht for the ride to 500 baht in 5 minutes (walking ..) In any case, great organization on the part of the stadium!!! Well done !!

Nice stadium. Easy to access and good stewarding. Good view of the pitch. Stand isn’t covered but plastic macs were supplied for the rain we had. Biggest issue is getting there and back if it is a big event. Gridlock. Took twice the time suggested by google maps

The venue was surrounded by many affordable hotels that were less than 10 minutes away on foot. The chairs weren't too cheap. Staff was very friendly and were very helpful when asked questions. Many resting areas and umbrellas to protect from the heat. Chairs weren't placed too close together and it was still easy to see the stage and to move around comfortably.

サッカーのU23オリンピック予選を観に行きました。この試合はそれほどお客さんが入っていませんでしたがとっても大きなスタジアムなので満席になったらすごい迫力だろうと思います。隣にはバレーボールの国際大会が行われる体育館もあります。

行きは最寄駅のARL RamkamhaengからGrabを利用しましたが18時過ぎは渋滞がキツかったです。22時過ぎの帰りも空港までGrabを利用。周辺にはタクシーも多く走っています。
