The Pantip rises from the ashes. It is now called the Phoenix. The electronics are on the third floor. If you have a computer or phone to repair here everything seems possible. Not many stores yet. Prices quite competitive but facing Aliex... Fô ben look 😁

Unfortunately, I had to realize today that the good old Pantip Plaza no longer exists, a pity! I always loved being there. Since there is nothing going on there anymore, think that the landlord has refurbished himself with the renovation of the last years and the rent increase of up to 40% as you hear, into the out!

There were only a few stalls all selling mobile phone equipment, as well as a few mobile phone repair shops. The building was 80% deserted. Total waste of time.

Rare. There are now a dozen shops on the mezzanine floor and something on the third floor. The shopping center is empty. We went hoping for something higher quality than MBkK but it was a big waste of time (there wasn't even anything technical or quality)

Dafür dass jeder, auch der Thai, sagt es wäre für Elektronik bzw PC das beste Einkaufszentrum hab ich mich veralbert gefühlt. Kaum ein Stand noch vorhanden, immer wieder das bekannte No Have, also hier braucht man definitiv nicht hingehen. Schade darum, die vielen tollen Bewertungen sind nicht von diesem Jahr und wenn doch entsprechen sie kaum der Realität. Wir können es nicht empfehlen. Die Verkäufer sind super nett, jede zweite oder dritte Verkaufsfläche aber leer. Da gibt es bessere Alternativen

I went for emergency repair parts.. I found everything I needed. Many shops were closed but many were still in business, There were technicians available. Hard core techs will appreciate the place. Enough English is spoked.

El centro comercial esta totalmente desmantelado, no tiene nada q ver con las fotos que e visto que esta a tope de gente, se nota que el COVID a echo estragos en Tailandia. Solo quedan 4 puestitos es la entrada pero nada que ver con el bullicio de gente q se ve en fotos de años atrás. Nosotros fuimos para ver si encontrábamos alguna ganga en informática pero allí solo quedaban puestos de baratijas electrónica que puedes encontrar en cualquier chino de tu pais. Vamos que no pierdas el tiempo en ir a u sitio q esta totalmente desmantelado si no es por que quieres disfrutar del aire acindicionado.

What used to be Thailands #1 tech mall and one of the busiest in SE Asia is now 90% unoccupied. Just a handful of stores on the ground level and another handful of stores on 2 other levels. Other levels are empty without any stores. Positive is there are still computer repair shops there. JIB Computers also.
guess covid and steep rent increase drove businesses away Other Tech malls still bustling like Fortune but not as spectacular as Pantip USED to be.
Some Pantip shop owners also mentioned hostility from renter when they wanted to open second locations at Cyber Tower Rachada Road. No customers due to covid and using spectacular logic Pantip raises the rent.
Be aware that the outdoor food vendors in front of Platinum Mall priced their "street food" 3 times normal Bangkok price plus it is precooked and sits in the sun growing bacteria for X number of hours before eaten. Saw the same setup in yard of Central World mall. Example; Pad Thai noodles with shrimp 200 baht . In most mall food courts 70 Baht and you get air conditioning and comfortable seating versuscrappy chair breathing car exhaust.
