Over priced watery drinks.
Do not be fooled with the reviews. Club management has been changed recently. Most of reviews are from the prior owners.
I have been coming to this club for last 6 years. Now that Koi took over the club the club has gone down the hill.
Koi in Los angels not doing well and almost closing door. Now They come to Bangkok and doing the same.
Very sad.

I am the Entertainment/Marketing and Social Media Review manager of the club and I have also been here for 6 years. I can assure you that the fundamental team is the same as it was then including the entertainment and marketing director, myself as well as our great DJs. We have received many positive reviews in the last 1.5 years and as I have monitored them for 6 years, they are even better then they were prior. In addition, our drink pour standard is the same and our prices have scaled to match other clubs of our standard.
I am happy to speak to you further on these issues if you like and would only ask that you email our reservation@theclubatkoi.com asking for the social media manager to initiate the process.

I have visited Koi many times and have had great experiences which I would've then rated 5 stars. I've used a photocopy of my passport many times and so have my friends. This worked as latest as September 11th. However when I recently visited Koi last Wednesday (September 18th) they did not accept the photocopy due to their "new policy" and asked if we have a driver's license instead. When around early June they denied my friend's driver's license and requested for a passport only? We then left the club disappointed. So can someone please clarify the entry policy?

First off thank you for being a loyal customer of ours, its people like you that drives our business.
I understand your frustration as we used to be able to accept an ID photocopy however recently the authorities have demanded original government issued photo ID (Passport, Drivers License, Citizenship card, Photo Birth Certificate). I am unaware of the reasons why your friend wasn't allowed entry using a Drivers License but absolutely this is sufficient to pass the new standards set by Thai Authorities.
We really hope to see you back soon so we can serve you again.

The club’s manager acted in an extremely disrespectful, discriminatory, and racist manner to me and my friends.
We were refused entry by the guards, who argued that my shoes were “sandals” despite the fact that there were other foreigners wearing the same type of sandals. While I understand that there are dress codes for the establishment, which I unfortunately overlooked, being told off in a disrespectful and racist manner is absolutely unacceptable for a club that markets itself as a “chic”, “upscale” club. For me and my friends, this experience will prevent us to see your club as so.
As we completely disagree with how the guards managed this situation, we requested to speak to the manager, Khun Jimmy, who addressed us immediately in an extremely vulgar manner, underlining the fact that we’re Thai.
It is further more distasteful when the Jimmy failed to respond to our question asking why white customers could be seen wearing sandals in the venue, to which Jimmy responded by saying “Get your foot out of my club.” Overall, it was a bad experience and others outside who were “kicked out” due to sandal issues, all strongly agreed.

We appreciate your understanding the reasoning for us having a dress code which we ask to be no shorts, sleeveless or sandals on men and no sandals on woman. However, your point of asking us to be consistent and respectful in the delineation of said policy is something we take very seriously; we will urgently bring this matter up to the attention of our security to ensure we maintain our usual exemplary record.

Thank you for your positive review, we are attached to the BTS and it is a great way to avoid traffic. If you do wish to drive next time we have many parking spaces in the building with valet to assist you.

As per Google reviews this was one of the posh places in Bangkok.. and it sure was. It is on the 39th floor and gives a great view of the city.. the place was crowded with international people. Staff was great however I didn’t enjoy the music as the Dj was playing Latin music and few of the English songs that was played they were repeated.. lightning was amazing!!

Thank you for your positive review and we are happy you enjoyed our establishment. We play latin music on Tuesday and Brazilian music to begin the night on Friday otherwise from Wed to Saturday we play hip hop and open format music which you may enjoy more. Hope to see you back soon.

Lively place. It was about 25 minutes away from my hotel. It was packed and the DJ was great. Kudos to the bouncer who broke up a fight quickly between two other guys who were there. All in all, a good experience.

We were drinking there for whole night after we had our dinner in the next door restaurant. After few drinks, we decided to head to the dance floor. And guess what? We were chased out by the staff? Reason: my boyfriend was wearing flip flop. We were allowed to go in to this club, stepped inside, ordered a few drinks, smoked outside, paid our bill, walked back and forth to toilet. And out of sudden we were told about no flip flop policy when we were otw to the dance floor. One more thing to note, flip flop can be expensive too. This is Bangkok and we are here for holiday. We toured around Bangkok and went for dinner & drinks at the tower. My bf didn't bring any covered shoes. We just went for the restaurant next door with flip flop to have more than 20000 baht dinner and they chased us out after one hour plus there at the club because of flip flop. It was his birthday and it was completely ruined. The staff was rude with the worst attitude. Never ever come back again and gonna spread to words. One star for bartender tho. Nice drinks.

We do have a no flip flop policy, as do many clubs in Bangkok, but this decision needs to be made at the entrance of the venue not once the patron is in our club and certainly not conveyed with a distasteful attitude. We will look into the matter and discuss the situation with our third party contracted security team to ensure that this does not happen again. We are happy to hear that our food and drink service was to your liking.

Great views, Nice interiors and a good crowd! Got a Nice table with a friendly waiter. A bit short on the mixers to the bottle tho. Good MC and a good vibe!
