タイ本部のこの地方一帯は、少数民族がそれぞれ暮らしているエリヤだが、チェンマイが一大観光地化するにつれて、周辺のこの辺りにも観光の波が押し寄せ、現地人の暮らしと観光とがミックスした情景が描き出されている。まあ、ここまで来たら足を伸ばして一見の価値あり。

i did the three day trek with our guide named bang. so it was fun ,good ,interesting and full of fun. i would recommend it and dont pack heavy its a long trip and a lot of up and down and the down really was getting to my knees and the bamboo rafting was awesome and the driver will let u drive if u ask, tricky but fun. the elephant riding was kool also. so if u do get weed from the tribe people make sure it has buds cuz if not its just a male plant and wont get u high. if u do have any u can bring and have the village people roll u up a blunt that is HUGE and out of banana leaves.. so good. O and bang can cook very well. I must say something else when u are over here in asia people may pretend to be your friend and scam you. Remember our money is worth way more than theres and sometimes they see us as a walking money sign and u can easily get scammed
