Had an amazing time at the living green elephant sanctuary! The people are very nice and it was absolutely amazing to spend up close time with the elephants. An absolutely amazing experience and a must do on your trip!

The experience was excellent. All the staff including the guide and the driver were nice and I can tell they were also experienced. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends!

I have been in other sanctuary and honestly, there are better places, here they provide us just a bag of food which was gone in 5 minutes, after that we were just there, we had lunch and go home.
In other places you are provided with more food, they give you the chance to prepare food for them, it is more organized, a photographer is taking you photos for solo travellers, they send you the pictures link to your e-mail.
In my opinion we are this place to feed them, the food we gave them wasn't enough and interaction with them insufficient.
Yes I know everybody likes elephants, but I wouldn't recommed this sanctuary to visit, I hope they improve this lack of organization and service.
Another thing is they found a Tarantula and they were keeping it in a plastic bottle, really guys?, are you selling this animal to the black market?, there are more around right?.
Another thing, I went to facebook to download the pictures and there are 10 photos and it seems another group, because I am not there. Thank you I took my own photos

I didn't get a call from the hotel for an hour and a half. It was a great experience. Feed the elephants.
Give me a bath. Lunch was delicious. Experience with fruit.
Apart from waiting in the morning, the Guide was very friendly and all nice.

We had a 2 week trip to Thailand and this trip was my favourite of all. We started in the jungle, following a gentle trail down into the hills to meet the Karen tribe for lunch. The walk was beautiful and it was fascinating to see the rice and coffee plants. After lunch we then went to see the elephants which was a fanatic experience which felt very surreal. This is a very ethical elephant sanctuary which was good to see. We had a great tour guide Adam for the entire day who was knowledge and friendly. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

All fantastic.. immersive experience in the world of these giants. Ended with a good lunch of pad thai cooked by the local guys.. English or Chinese Guide only.

Does anyone know the actual location of "Living Green Elephant" on Google map? I can only find their Chiang mai office at Old City. Thank you.

I did not have a signal at the sanctuary so I could not check, but they have no office at the sanctuary, I believe the only way to visit it to book at the office in Chiang Mai.
