เป็นวัดเล็ก ๆ เงียบสงบ มีองค์พระธาตุที่ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นฝาแฝดกับพระธาตุดอยสุเทพ แต่คนขับรถแดงบางคันอาจจะไม่ค่อยรู้จักเมื่อบอกให้ไป

It’s a small temple with pagoda , tiled with gold plate”jungo”.. it’s hiding in a small alley , among cute compact sized guesthouses, coffeehouses, it’ community center with community knowledge centerand there is also ancient brick gate in front of the main monastery.

ถ้าจุดมุ่งหมายของการเดินเข้าวัดคือความสงบ ขอแนะนำวัดนี้ สงบ เงียบ ผู้คนไม่พลุกพล่าน ไม่มีธุรกิจแอบแฝง คงมีแต่ศาสนสถานดั้งเดิม ให้เยี่ยมชม ด้วยพื้นที่ๆไม่ได้กว้างขวางใหญ่โต แต่เต็มไปด้วยอารยธรรมแท้ๆ เสียงของกระดิ่งที่ดังอยู่เนืองๆ ดึงสติได้ดี

I have been visiting a few of the lesser well-known temples to see if they're worth a visit - instead of the more popular temples, many of which are now charging foreigners to enter.
Wat Chomphu is situated in a soi off Chiang Moi Road, close to the moat road and easy to check on the map.
As you enter Wat Chomphu there is an old building on two floors with a spiral staircase, a gable decorated with tigers and a bell tower. Another pedestrian entrance to Wat Chomphu is very ancient and nearly falling down, with an interesting structure atop.
The main hall is dark inside but with beautiful, large pillars, interesting pictures and sculptures. Outside is a fine golden stupa with lovely golden elephants at each corner. The courtyard also contains some fitness machines which were being well used whilst I was there.
Wat Chomphu is a fine alternative to those nearby temples that charge entrance.
Recommended.

This beautiful wat in CM is very peaceful as it doesn't get that ,any visitors compared to other more touristy wat. That's what I like about this Wat. Spent some time inside and prayed without many people taking photos.

お堀で囲まれた旧市街の外側、北東方向にある寺院で、路地を入ったところにあります。金色の仏塔は四つの傘に囲まれた立派なもので見ごたえがあります。城門のようなものの遺構もあり、くぼみにはガネーシャが納められていました。本堂でお坊さんがお一人でお経をとなえながら掃除をしていたり、静かで落ちついた雰囲気のお寺です。平日の朝に行きましたが、訪れている観光客は2～3人でした。

Тихий, спокойный храм. Я был единственным его посетителем.
В Чианг Мае множество храмов, поэтому не стоит стараться обойти все, тем более если у вас не так много времени. Я зашёл, так как он находился совсем недалеко от моей гостиницы.

Visite varios templos y en este había mucha gente religiosa visitándole. Tiene la curiosidad que puedes subir los 300 escalones para acceder o tomar un tranvía por menos de un dólar. El acceso tiene costo pero es representativo. Está en la zona de las montañas y tiene una vista a la ciudad, yo no pude verla pq había bruma pero eso le dio un toque hermoso al templo. Tuve la oportunidad que un monje me diera su bendición con un cordón de la buena suerte. Muy lindo y muy recomendable.

Great view to wake up to during our stay in Chiang Mai. We saw it from afar but the temple was stunning.

A pochi chilometri da Chiang Mai, facilmente raggiungibile in taxi, c’è questo meraviglioso wat.
A mio giudizio il più bello di quelli di Chiang Mai.
Vale la pena a chi si reca in questa città, fare una gita fuori porta.
