Made 2 suits and 3 dress shirts. Everything was done professionally and the results were amazing. Good price. There was always one english-speaking person there who helped with the translation. Will definitely go back if ever in Hanoi.

Great tailor at a great price. We had a suit made for my son from cashmere and it only cost about $170 US. Love the suit and love the service. Had it done in 5 days. Some of the younger helpers speak some english. Make sure you have pictures of what you want to make sure you get what you would like.

My son had a suit and shirt made by Mr. Duc Minh and the whole experience was great. My son wanted charcoal colored fabric and Mr. Duc helped him find the charcoal fabric that went best with his skin tone. Then he took measurements (many measurements) and then his assistant showed pics to choose from of different options for the details. We went back for a fitting, but nothing needed to be changed. He also made a shirt and the fit is perfect, just as it is with the suit. The suit cost $150 and the shirt $30. We highly recommend Mr. Duc Minh if you want a suit made.

I did a bit of internet research before heading to Hanoi and Duc Minh popped up in a blog so I thought I would give it a shot. As soon as I entered the shop I was given my own time to go through all the fabrics without being pestered at all which I really appreciated. Once I had narrowed down half a dozen different fabrics I was needing some advice for which the tailor expertly told showed me which ones would look best on me. I chose a grey fabric for a full suit and red velvet for a jacket... because why the f*** not, when in Vietnam. I was measured in places I didn't even know existed and then shown photos of different ways to have the suit's buttons, pockets, etc, etc. The whole process took me about 45mins to an hour and I was really taking my time. I went back to fit the next day which took just 15 mins and then 4 days later I returned and I had my gorgeous grey suit and sexy red velvet jacket. They fitted like an absolute dream, and I must now just try my hardest to stay in this shape! The suit and trousers were $150 and the velvet jacket at about $100. I honestly recommend Duc Minh to anyone.

This place is a little less touristy than some other tailor shops, so the prices are reasonable. The staff was friendly and the experience easy. Paid about £140 for a three piece men's suit. It was ready in just a few days. As with all tailors make sure you go in with a very specific idea and examples And photos of what you want made. If you're looking for a nice suit in Hanoi, this place will have you covered!

I went here on a review from another TripAdvisor person for myself, a woman, and was shot down twice that they do not do women's suits. Really disappointing.
I decided to bring my husband there since the reviews for men was so good. He hesitated because everyone was super expensive. The prices are as everyone quotes, $150 per suit regardless of what you want done to it. For example, we wanted his bespoke tailored suit to have sleeve buttons that can be unbutton and not fake. He asked for a red paisley lining on a dark navy suit and that one button hole on the sleeve be red stitching and the button hole on the label be the same. Also asked if we could have a pocket square made of the same fabric as the inner lining with the suit. Not a problem.
Also a sign that they are a great tailor, they are adamant that you ONLY pay them half up front. We offered several times to pay in full but they insisted that you wait to pay them when finished because they want you happy with their product.
He's walking away with 2 suits and 1 tuxedo for $450 and couldn't be happier with the bespoke tailor made.
The only thing you need to be careful of is:
1. Best to give them at least 3-4 days turnaround time.
2. No shipping so even if we wanted to buy more suit and just have them ship it to us they won't. I would suggest they offer this. Charge whatever they need to. It would be worth it. We would have ordered about 10 more suits had they the ability to ship it to us.
3. Cash Only. But they are sweet enough to take you to a ATM machine which is just at the end of their block. Not a big deal.
4. Fabric selection is a bit limited to just whether you want cashmere, cashmere blend, silk, etc. Mostly shades of blue, black and grays. Not many with patterns. We just didn't have the time to ask if they would take outside fabric if we were to shop for our own fabric. The sample fabric for the shirts is standard but it's all thin cotton or polyster. No raw or refine silk. All in thin fabric. We were hoping for more of the thicker cotton blend.
Overall, would highly recommend this bespoke tailor and would definitely be returning for more suits in the future.

They only do some many things and have a few style selections but they do great work. Got a suit and three shirts and it was all ready right on time and fit perfectly

I got three shirt here. Two business cut and one slimmer for going out. All had a really good quality - especially for the price (700k VND/shirt) and the change requests I had were performed without complaints. English speaking personal is available. Definitely recommended!
